From @bottlebabyfosters: “Luna has a lot of opinions on life. She’s the little athlete of the pair and is constantly climbing and trotting around. Soleil is my little shadow who loves snuggles, kisses, and hanging out with my two personal cats.” #twitterweek #catsofinstagram https://t.co/YRzFHEo2dB

From @little.foster.family: “This was at almost 2 weeks old! 😻For the next few weeks, they mostly nursed, slept, dreamt, and Simba grew to be almost twice the size of Flynn (the smallest)!” #twitterweek #catsofinstagram https://t.co/06nnTSqNsP

Togo arrived at a shelter in Tuba City with a gunshot wound to the jaw. He had surgery to fix his jaw, and then came to our Sanctuary to begin the long road to recovery. Sweet Togo's jaw is healed and he is ready for a home of his own. Adopt him today: https://t.co/wWTCqM1PqE ^AT https://t.co/9vb1o4ANra

Today is National Bird Day! 👏 We love our feathered friends for many different reasons. They are the only animal that talks back to us at our Sanctuary. You can't help but to fall in love with them when they say "I love you" back. ^AT #NationalBirdDay https://t.co/lNGGuq5b0X

When Hesperia Animal Services heard about a dog who needed medical attention, they did not hesitate. Although he ended up having to have his leg amputated, it doesn't slow him down. According to his mom, "He loves playing & going for walks. I feel blessed to be his mama." #adopt https://t.co/UP6Gmff9vo

Eye to eye with this extremely curious humpback 🐋. Encounters like this don’t happen very often on the ocean. The only way something as magical as this can occur is if the animal engages with you first. Encounters like this cannot be forced but when they do occur, we promise they’re life changing! There is nothing like having a 30 ton animal lock eyes with you. Video by captainbeezer / condorexpresssb via sea #WildlifePlanet

2020 was an incredibly challenging year. It brought hardship to every corner of the world. But it also brought us closer in unexpected ways and showed us just how connected we all are; that people and nature are intrinsically linked. As we start this new year with hope and resolve to make it better than the last, take some time to reflect on a few moments that honored the connection between people and nature in 2020.

Photo by kartick.wildlifesos Leopards are solitary cats, and use the same methods as other felines to define their territory: scent marking, feces and scratch marks. They have a variety of vocalizations including grunting, growling, hissing and meowing. One of their most recognized sounds is their distance call, which sounds something like someone sawing wood. #wild #natures #wildlife #leopard #wildlifesosindia #instaanimal
