We rescued her in 2018 with four other hounds and her 6 one week old puppies from a back yard filled with trash in Crenshaw, CA. . They were being used for breeding and being psychically abused. Her babies were being sold at only 1 week old. They were left out in the filthy backyard in the dirt, in extreme weather conditions, covered in flees and flies until someone would buy them . She has been in her forever home for two years now, and all her babies survived and were adopted out into loving homes along with the rest of her brothers. . It is because of happy endings like these that make what we do so important — Giving animals the opportunity to know love and to be safe. . A classic example highlighting conservation of biodiversity, especially today, on #WorldMigratoryBirdDay, a juvenile Greater Flamingo bird was rescued, treated and successfully relocated amongst a resident flock of flamingos in Keetham lake located inside the Soor Sarovar Bird Sanctuary in Agra. The bird was brought to the Wildlife SOS Animal Hospital by the forest department officials for urgent medical treatment. The bird had injuries on both wings and was treated for the same by the Wildlife SOS veterinarians. We wanted the bird to be successfully released in the wild and therefore, identified a flock of flamingos in Keetham Wetlands. Greater flamingos are the largest & most widespread flamingo species & they live in flocks called colonies to protect individual birds from predators. . . . . . . #wildlifesos #birds #flamingo #rescue #release
