Learning that American Robins are among the hundreds of climate-threatened bird species inspired artist Mayuko Fujino to create this stencil of the songbirds in flight and inspire us to properly appreciate the birds we love. #BirdsTellUs https://t.co/LMHzzEzrCy

The light has been beautiful lately, and I have had fun just hanging around the estuary. I might try somewhere different now that I have cleared my calendar for some personal shooting fun. .. .. #silhouettebirds #marvelouz_animals #macro_turkey #sunriselover #best_birds_of_ig #your_best_birds #instawildlife #naturephotography #birdsofaustralia #bird_watchers_daily #best_birds_planet #egretsofinstagram

What do Scissor-tailed Flycatchers, Bobolinks, and Greater Sage-Grouse have in common? They all rely on native plants to thrive! But the nation’s supply of native seeds falls far short of demand. A new report charts a way forward. https://t.co/EHUopSiZep

"Is this pose good for you"? 😆 After spending some time with these Brandt's Cormorants, I started picking up on a few things. Like this little rock here; it seems to serve as a "takeoff platform" because almost every Cormorant that jumps and stands on it is getting ready to take off into the ocean to go fishing. Like an airport runway. 😄 I wanted to catch some fly-off action shots so this was the best way to do so. And I was right! Swipe to see the flight sequence. 🐧💨 . . . . .
