Starting to have really bad recession anxiety (and depression)
So I own a small videography company in Michigan – we have 4 employees. Currently, we have half as many events booked for 2023 as we did for 2022 at this time last year, and our business-to-business leads are starting to dry up now too. We have about 2.5 months of runway and I'm struggling really hard too see past that. How are y'all dealing with the uncertainty and anxiety? I genuinely don't know how I'm going to make rent in 3 months, not to mention paying the people that rely on me and this business as their source of income... it's starting to get hard to get up in the mornings lol I was 12 in 2008 – any advice for a recession first-timer?

NFL star quarterback Tom Brady, supermodel Gisele Bündchen and Patriots owner Robert Kraft are among those sharing the pain of FTX Group’s sudden implosion. Brady owns more than 1.1 million common shares of FTX Trading, documents show, and Bündchen has more than 680,000 shares in the same entity. The value of the investments couldn’t immediately be learned, but are assumed to be practically worthless. Stockholders of bankrupt companies rarely recover any of their money because US law requires creditors be repaid in order of priority, and stockholders are last in line. “At the end of the day, we’re not going to be able to recover all of the losses here,” FTX CEO John J. Ray III said. Tap the link in bio for more.
