How do I Create an LLC in New Jersey for a Handyman Business?

I'm trying to help my Dad create an LLC for his handyman business. Its just him, working alone. He just wants an LLC and insurance. I found this video on YouTube that everyone in the comments said explained everything and was super easy but I have no idea how he got to the business formation page he shows at 1:14 where you pick your business name and the type of LLC you want to create. I have a little take out spot. Only been open for 5 months. I wanted to start out small and focus on the quality of the food first. My feedback on the food is outstanding people love it. My problem is I work all day non stop and I don't want to get burnt out which I'm already noticing that I am a little. I've hired workers to help me out but they don't seem to last at all. I'm very lenient with the job as long as they help me when it gets really busy. My question is how do I make it so my workers feel good with there job so I can have workers that last more than a month

Business self audit?

Hey all - I'm a small business owner of a business that is growing rather large. I'd love to hear from any business owners as things that I need to make sure I have. For example, I have a business partner 50/50. We need to purchase key man insurance, so that if either of us dies, the other is bought out for an appropriate amount of money. I can't remember the name of it, but I need to buy the insurance so that if some employee files some kind of claim against us (ie firing inappropriately), we are protected. I probably need to increase our corporate umbrella. What are things that you missed doing for your business? I'd love if there was a service that you could pay someone to come in to your business and get all your shit super organized and in line.

S-CORP and Form 2553

Hello I mailed in my Form 2553 to become S-CORP to Utah IRS on Feb 1. When can I expect to receive the confirmation letter for the S-CORP status? I run 1-person online business, can I assume it is accepted and run S-CORP status? I have to file for Form 941 in April for Q1 report. Can I do that online via IRS website directly, or do I have to use paid-services to file this Form? Thank you!

What do you set as your domain names for your internal systems?

This is such a silly thing to obsess over but I really can't decide or agree with myself on what is best for naming my internal systems domain wise. These won't really be touched by outside people most likely, but who knows. Paying spouse for bookkeeping

My wife is a real estate agent in Virginia. I handle all her bookkeeping and do some odd stuff here and there to help out. She owns a Single Member LLC that she operates under. Can she make me an employee of the business without being required to pay me at least minimum wage? I’d like to only receive a justifiable fringe benefits as payment for the services I’m providing. We both have full-time W2 jobs separate from her being a real estate agent. She does the real estate mostly as a side hustle. Would appreciate any guidance. I’m researching but can’t find anything that confirms spouses aren’t required at least minimum wages in Virginia as an employee. If it is required, would it be worth changing the single member LLC to a partnership? She is the only licensed real estate agent.

Changing control of business bank and merchant account

I bought my partner out. He opened our bank and merchant account originally. When I provide them the paperwork, will they require my DOB/SSN/etc? I don't really like providing that information, and hoping it's unnecessary just to gain access.
