How do I build credit for an LLC easy and/or fast?
I'm looking to get some rental properties in about a year if that's relevant. Is there an easy way like routing bills or credit cards to an LLC to build credit? I'm trying to avoid going through all the hoops of transferring the ownership of the house from myself to the business, and buy it direct.

Transition from solo consulting to operating like a "real" business
I have about 5 years experience as a consultant in my field. I'm incorporated and employ a full-time assistant, but my time is definitely the primary product. Work is going well. The company has a growing reputation and work is getting easier to find. But, as we all know, our own time is a limited resource which we can't make more of. In the last couple of years I've been running up against this limit hard. To deal with this, I've been considering hiring on a project manager. But the costs involved are a little bit frightening to me--I know this is the only way to grow, as (basically) an individual, gambling $60-70k on a new hire is a scary prospect. If I blow it, I will quickly lose most of the financial product of the last two years of hard work. To add to it, I'm burnt out and struggling to find time to chart this new path forward. Has anyone here successfully juggled these personal and professional hurdles and made the jump from solo consulting to "real business"?

Help selling coffee stand
Hi, So I have decided I want to sell my coffee stand and move my career into tech. My problem is I lease the stand from a gas station owner. I own all the equipment inside. I am currently not on a contract and the owner wants to get me to sign a lease contract I am just trying to figure out the best way to go about this knowing I want to sell. I don’t want to tell him because I don’t want to just be kicked out and have him fill the space. I am thinking of signing a 1 year lease with something written in the contract that I am able to sell during the contract term this would give me a little more leverage selling to a new owner. Does anyone have advice or any experience in a similar situation? And how would I get something like this written in the lease without raising suspicion and making sure I can sell?

Small Business Partnership Struggle
My boyfriend and I are starting up a small business. We’ve agreed I would be manager of production and him manager of sales/marketing. I feel guilty for having thoughts that I’m glad about being in charge production and my head thinking I’m the boss and I’m over him and I don’t want to think that way or feel that way. How do I set my mind and make myself know that we are partners and neither of us can do the other part without the other person. How do I stop feeling like I’m in control of it all? And how do I stop feeling like he doesn’t do much of the work and shouldn’t get as much profit? I know marketing and sales can be difficult so I think split pay between him and I is fair but I feel like my head is telling me otherwise and I feel bad for it. How can I stop being selfish and having selfish thoughts about this? We did this together.

What tax form do you request from your international clients?
I own a small software development LLC. Many of my clients are located in Europe. What tax forms do you ask your international clients to provide? Last year I just asked my clients to confirm that the amount sent and files for taxes is the same. Am I doing it right?

Tax ID
Are state tax ID and federal tax ID the same thing? Do I need both as a sole proprietor? I see you can get an EIN through the PA gov site and also the IRS.

What Repetitive Tasks do You Hate Doing?
I'm a developer, have some free time and want to build some small utilities and tools. What are things you do a few times a week or more using an existing website or app that kinda sucks or that you have to do manually? I'm thinking maybe tasks where you need to look up stats, pull reports, do calculations or do a boring and manual repetitive task where you’d wish a software engineer would make a nicer version!

Recommended CMMS software (equipment & facilities maintenance ticketing system)?
Does anyone use a CMMS to monitor and maintain the maintenance of equipment and facilities? I would like to use as part of a tablet setup with my maintenance employees. Requirements are: * Use as a ticketing/scheduling system for work orders & Preventative Maintenance * PM checklists to tick off as proof of performance (ideally with photos to show photo proof) * Use as a knowledge base (able to upload manuals and cheetsheets for reference, also document near learnings to use for future troubleshooting. * Easy to use UX I've been looking at: * MaintainX * HippoCMMS * Emaint * MobilityWork * Fiix * UpKeep * Micromain * ss-cmms * EZMaintain Was looking to stay under $200/m for 3 users. There are so many and it's a bit hard to figure which is best, so wanted to ask if anyone used them.
