Is it possible to open a brick-and-mortar business if you're not already wealthy.
It's been a dream of mine to own a small business in my area. I've put a good amount of work planning a small Specialty beer shop. I make a modest living and have about 80k in savings I can put towards it. With all the expenses involved to open up shop and keep it operating, I don't see a way I'll ever be able to do this. I don't know anyone who has the kind of money it would take, should I just accept that owning a business is out of my grasp?

Invoicing software/service that allows you to add a surcharge based on how the customer is paying?
We're trying to find an invoicing service like Stripe/Square that automatically applies a surcharge based on how the customer wants to pay. Right now, we have to ask how the customer wants to pay, and then manually enter a surcharge into the invoice, and then send the invoice. Is there any service that automatically applies either a 3% surcharge for credit cards and 1% for ACH transfers based on what the customer chooses on the payment link?

What to do for LLC Taxes from virtually no profit
I created an LLC with a friend, but we only made around 4K and didn't take any money out of the bank account. Since we made so little, I don't think we can pay for someone to do our taxes, so what would be the easiest way to do them? Thanks!

My girlfriend is looking into starting her own business selling a clothing line.
My gf (19) wants to get a business started. She wants to create men’s clothing with her logo. I told her she should begin online using Shopify, but I have no clue on where to point her as far as manufacturing goes. Most people say Alibaba, but how can you find a reputable wholesaler? Could a manufacturer print a logo onto the products? Or are these questions I should ask the manufacturer? Thanks so much for the help guys!

E-commerce website
I’m a new business, I make art/oddities and I really want to make a website to sell on/ share events. I’ve been trying to do my own research but I’m really lost and can’t make up my mind, I’m thinking of using bigcartel but if anyone could give some more personal recommendations that’d be appreciated. Again it’s art I make, no 2 pieces of mine are the same

Amid a second round of sweeping layoffs, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is now encouraging staff to “find more opportunities to work with your colleagues in person.” Meta is the latest high-profile company to walk back lenient work-from-home policies and call workers back to the office in 2023, joining others like Amazon, Starbucks, and Disney. The orders come as office occupancy across the US this year broke 50% for the first time since the pandemic began and CEOs like JPMorgan Chase’s Jamie Dimon continue to reject remote work. Working from home “doesn’t work” for managers or younger staff, Dimon said recently. This year’s return-to-office policies follow 2022’s mandates from the likes of Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Apple, and Peloton. Requesting Advice on How to Generate Leads for my New Audio Installation Services Business.
Hey I recently started a new business providing audio installation services for homes and businesses. I have experience in this field and I am confident in the quality of my work. However, I am struggling to generate leads and get my name out there. I have tried some basic marketing techniques such as word-of-mouth, social media, and online directories, but these have not yielded much success. I believe there must be more effective methods to generate leads and I would love to hear from those who have experience in this area. What strategies have worked for you in generating leads for your business? Are there any particular marketing channels or techniques that I should focus on? Are there any tips or tricks that you could share with me? I appreciate any advice and insights that you can offer. Thank you in advance!

Looking for passive income earnings
Running a small business leaves little time for other income-generating activities. I'm curious about digital currency trading, but I'm worried about the time it would require. Any suggestions?

App that counts your steps in a club/rave and you get rewards
so whenever you’re at a club or rave and you check the health app you see that you’ve reached around 8000 thousands steps or more. What do you think of an app that collects these steps and you get rewarded for example for a low count you get free drink then the higher you go the higher the rewards i.e guest-list, vip, meet with the DJ and so on. Appreciate your thoughts on this idea.

Hi all, At the moment I am busy with setting up my ecommerce website. I want to sell American candy+snacks in the Netherlands. Does anyone know a good wholesale supplier for these products? I checked the prices at Walmart but I do not know if there are cheaper options for businesses to buy these products. Any advise is welcome :) Thanks

Hi can anyone help if we should apply for sole or partnership
Hello, I rented a beauty studio with 2 of my friends. It’s a small room inside a building with 50 others small beauty room like Sola Salon, Phoenix Suite. We thought of LLC before but it’s small. We split the rent and have our own our own clients but under the same business name. Right now one of my friend is the business owner(sole prop) under the business but now she’s thinking of changing it to a partnership so 3 of our name is under the business, instead of me and my other friend applying for separate business license(sole prop) under the same business. I hope that makes sense. If she does change to partnership, can we file taxes separately since we’re taking our own client or we have to include all income together since it’s a partnership? Or is it better we all 3 have our own business license(sole prop) under the business It’s just we operate under the same business & split the rent. Or what do you recommend ?
