JUNGLE BIRD - 45ml/1.5oz Jamaican Rum - 22,5ml/0.75oz Campari - 45ml/1.5oz Pineapple Juice - 15ml/0.5oz Lime Juice - 15ml/0.5oz Simple Syrup - - - - - HOW: Shake all with cracked ice / Strain over a large cube in an old-fashioned glass / Garnish with a pineapple wedge and fronds. - - - - - The Jungle Bird is likely one of my all time favorite drinks to play with. The combination of exotic flavors, strong booze base and perfect balance between sweet, sour and bitter makes it nearly impeccable. Want to go crazy? Just switch to other spirits, fruit juices or amari, the world is your oyster! When working with the classic, your choice of Rum impacts the drink crazily. A lot of recent iterations use 'Blackstrap' Rum, though I'd personally advise against that.
