Simple question: Is it accurate to refer to a business that is ran as a sole proprietorship, and that is has not yet been registered as an LLC, as a "privately held" business?

Who do you think are the best options for banking / card managment for small startups (<10 employees currently)? We currently have Gusto for payroll management / benefits if that helps. Are trying to optimize the above instead of using BOA

Hi everyone! This is my first year working for myself. There are so many apps and websites for tracking small business finances but I’d like to know what’s been working well for you guys! I want to track it for taxes and also productivity. I need a better way of keeping track of money going in and out! I would prefer if I could use a mobile app. Any insight would be super appreciated! Could I interview you for a school project about contracts?

Hi! I am a business student who is currently taking a Business Law class. Our professor wants us to interview a business owner about the contracts that their business regularly enters into with other businesses and/or customers. There are six questions that I would need to ask. It’s basically to help us gain a better understanding of how contracts work, so I will be asking about things like the purpose of a contract, any problems that you have enforcing them, etc. The interview could be done through PM or email. I will remove this post if it is not allowed. I’ve really enjoyed reading this subreddit and thought it might be a good place to ask for help.

Debit or credit cards for business expenses?

New small LLC, already have a business checking account. What is best practice for expenses for three partners? I’m old-school and think a credit card is safer, but the bank tells me a debit card is just as safe as a credit card when it comes to fraud and recovery. How do you bank?
