Any domains left?

Its been over a year now. Am trying to come up with a name for my web design company, but every name i seem to come up with is already taken. I cant think of any anymore. Can anyone suggest a short and unique Web design business name that will encourage small businesses owners who do not have websites to get one.

For some reason, 84% of the page views on my business website (which is a very small biz I run with my spouse in southern Colorado) are coming from Brussels.

I’ve only actually had 85 page views on the website from the USA in the last month, another 10 from China (???) and then 488 from Brussels, Belgium. Has anyone else experienced this? I wonder who is obsessed with my business over there 🤔

Tax filing

I have a small business, LLC, and I signed up for QuickBooks mid-year through a booked. I'm having a little trouble categorizing everything- does anyone have any YouTube videos or resources that could help? After I categorize everything is it worth me hiring someone to do my taxes or do them myself? I feel like if I have the QuickBooks in order I don't really need much else except for to input. Thanks!

Generating New Business

I've just started a Digital Marketing Agency and am struggling to get clients, when I know that it's the hardest part. I have full faith that our services can bid retention and that we can take care of our customers, but it's hard to find the customers that will take that initial jump into trusting us with their projects. This is making it very hard to showcase a portfolio and getting started. I'm open to any advice and/or any trusted sites/methods (UK) for client onboarding that I could use to simply land my first client. With it being all online based, I'm open to customers from all corners on the roads and it's proving difficult to market that, when I know that there are businesses everywhere that require a marketing service of any form. We offer; Web development, Social media management, SEO, Paid Ads. I'd just like for someone to give us a shot just to build up the portfolio as we offer short term and long term solutions!

Capital Raising deal with a minor hiccup

I was tasked with raising $150M for a REIT which I was supposed to paid 2% of the total raise. I introduced this to an investor and he wants to commit $150M for the total raise. The $150M will be deployed over 5-7 years. After introducing the REIT to the investor. The investor has tried to kick me out of the deal where I only get paid approximately $200,000 on the first deal and no reoccurring deals. I do have a contract in place with the REIT. Ultimately if I don’t get out of the way I would have to find someone else to raise the money from or potentially find no one. Should I take the $200,000 or should I stand in the way of them completing the deal? The REIT has told me they’ll do whatever I want to do.

What Led You to Start Your Own Business?

I am eager to start a new business, having previously attempted one with a friend which yielded little profit. Reflecting on this experience, I recognise the shortcomings of the business but also appreciate the invaluable lessons learned and the satisfaction derived from the hard work. I recall the excitement of receiving an online sale just before going to bed and preparing it for the next morning. Regrettably, that business eventually ceased operations. As a pharmacist, I have explored the possibility of starting an online pharmacy, but the financial prospects appear unfeasible. As a result, I am contemplating another online venture due to the lower set-up costs. Therefore, I am seeking guidance on how to determine the ideal business venture. Would you kindly share your insights on how you arrived at your decision to start your own business? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Up-work like time tracker that detects no typing or mouse movement for freelancer?

I found a freelancer I'd like to work with who isn't on Upwork, and I'm wondering if there's any free or low-cost software available to keep track of the weekly hours allotted; all work is computer-based

Yelp Messaging Locked Off?

First, to be clear, I know the issues with Yelp in terms of paid service/ROI. I'm not looking to spend any money there, so no need to warn me (though it's appreciated). We just acquired a small business and the owner gave us all the credentials for various sites/socials/etc. When it comes to Yelp though, I updated the owner name, updated the bio, and then saw that messaging was off. I tried to toggle it on and it appears to be locked and it says due to "owner name rejected" or something like that. I saw in their help sections that messages can be locked if you're unresponsive to customers, but the previous owner was on top of his messages, so it's not that. Any idea why an owner name would be rejected? Is there some kind of verification that was done when he first set up the business that I need to redo?

Find ou what you’re good at

Find out what you’re good at. Get very good in it. Once you are confident in what you do, create content of what you do. Teach people how to get good at what you are good in.

Starting a self defense course/lesson geared towards young women.

I want to start a business that gives basic self defense lessons to women of all ages. The target demographic would be teens and young adults. I know there's a market for it- without giving out too much identifying details I'm in the south near a college town. A lot of local men don't take no for an answer. I have personally had to change my locks and can no longer have a hide a key because a creep stole mine. It would be a seasonal business. How would I go about arranging a venue? What kind of insurance would I need?

Getting Google verified?

Hi guys I own a small sailing charter business in Hawaii. I have a dock that I pick up in. I have created the address in Google business and have it in Google maps but I don't have a mailing address to that location. Google needs to send me a postcard to verify my business location. I have no means of doing that without causing confusion to my guests to get picked up at the dock. I cannot seem to figure out a workaround to this issue but I know it can be done because other charters have theirs listed there too. Help??

How to quickly get quotes from a range of manufacturers for custom food item?

Hi, without going into too much detail, I'm looking for a manufacturer to produce a custom formula food item. The problem is there are many manufacturers but most of them do not make pricing info public and I just don't have the time to go through the process of reaching out to each and every one just to get a quote. Now I know it's not easy to just publish general quotes as different projects can range wildly in scope, so this leads to my question. What would be the best way to go about getting general quote ranges from multiple sources in a quick manner without taking away from my at hand tasks. Would this be worth hiring a VA for a short time?

Price increase, PO after PO. What do you do?

I've been working with a supplier/importer for years. For the last 12 months they have been increasing prices PO after PO. Many of their wholesale prices are pretty much Amazon or Walmart's retail prices. Is this a dead end?

Fastest Credit Card Processing Terminals?

I have a business where line speed is very important. I'm looking for a credit card processor that is quicker than the current one I have to speed up lines since it usually is the slowest process in getting people through and checked in. What processors are the quickest? My ethernet and Wi-Fi speeds are not limiting factors.
