Long Term Investing (Value Investing)
How many people think that value investing is possible. Bogle, Buffet and others started investing in a completely different market than what it is today. If one was a good conservative investor, they would have lost on alot of the gains the last year or so. To be clear, I don't day trade or use options, but when investing, it currently more to do on the product and field the company is in (probably 60%). Do you think it will change anytime soon. I don't, believe volatility will increase heavily in future.

I need help - is it as many as or greater than?!?
I'm looking at some data and trying to find the correct way of saying: If x is +200% compared to y, do you say: x is 2x as many as y x is 2x greater than y If a is +500% compared to b, do you say: a is 5 times more than b a is 4 times more than b (because b is 100%)? Sorry if this sounds simple, I just want to ensure I am using the right way to say this - as many, as much, or it is OK to say more than and greater than

There's never been a more exciting time to start a business. I've spoken with many people this weekend who are in the early days of building and the energy is contagious. Here are 5 threads with my advice on building start-ups:

Albóndigas en caldillo is a nourishing Mexican dish that combines tender meatballs, potatoes and collard greens in a warming, flavorful broth. The version from Chef Diana Davila of Chicago’s mitocaya sees the ingredients simmer in a chile-tomato broth and adds a halved boiled egg to each bowl. Davila, who got a thorough education in Mexican cooking while working after school at her parents’ taqueria in Chicago and on visits to family in Mexico, found inspiration for the dish close to home—and thanks to her mother. “My mom called and was like, ‘You have to try this restaurant. They have real home-cooked Mexican dishes!’” she tells wsjoffduty. “So I went, and this soup was delicious.” Get the full recipe at the link in our bio. 📷: chelsealouisekyle for wsjoffduty

Sales are non-existent, why?
I am struggling to get sales. I have an instagram and a facebook page, posting every other day. I share in a bunch of pet related facebook groups and local community groups. I ran an ad campaign for 6 days, got lots of visits, no sales. I have added new products, and advertised those. Frequently interacting with other small shops on instagram. I have tried marketplace, but I'd rather drive traffic to my website (not like I got any sales on marketplace either!). I am getting maybe one sale every 3 weeks, and I'm getting a little run down by it all. There must be something I'm missing, or something I'm doing wrong. My market is pet accessories, which is HUGE, I understand that. Just a little discouraged and looking for advice. My website is catydids.com
