I built a tool using GPT that generates replies to all your emails, and leaves them in your drafts folder for you to send.
Hey everyone! š I absolutely hate writing emails, and running a small business I get a lot. Even using ChatGPT to help is still pretty annoying - it takes time to write the prompt, and more time to wait for a response. ā° That's why I built [mailwiz.app](https://mailwiz.app/) (mostly with GPT!) -- whenever I receive an email, it automatically generates a reply to it and leaves it in my drafts folder. When I open my inbox, I see a bunch of personalized replies ready for me to review and send. It's pretty amazing, and it saves me a huge amount of time. I'm currently looking for beta testers who will have free access to the tool. If you're interested, leave a comment or send me a message and I'll get in touch. š

Can I cash a check issued to my now-defunct startup?
Hi all, I had a startup (C-Corp) that closed down late in 2022, which is now fully dissolved. The bank account was also closed. Recently, I received a check made out to the company from the IRS. Is there any way I can cash this check, even though the bank account is closed? I can't re-open the account since the company no longer exists. I was the CEO and would have had the authority to sign over the check. I have also been dealing with some liabilities incurred from the company (subscriptions, etc) that I've had to pay with personal money, so this tax return would help me cover some of that. Thanks!

Can a check be made out to me and then I pay my business partner and self in cash? multi member llc
Hello, I do business in the state of Florida under a Multi member LLC (2 people including myself). I was wondering the legality of me having a check made out to myself, cashing it(through my bank account or somewhere like Amscot if need be), and then paying me and my partner in cash. My partner has no business account and we don't have a business account as of now. I would of course report all this to my books and the money would still be accounted for. Thank you very much

Good credit unions for business checking in Miami / Fort Lauderdale area for anew LLC?
Hello everyone, We recently created a one member LLC in South Florida and were looking for a low cost business checking account for a company that won't have too many transactions but which will need to make cash deposits. I would like to go the credit union route but the ones near us have pretty terrible reviews. Can anyone here recommend any good ones in this area? Feels more and more that in order to keep costs low we will need to go with an online bank/fintech, however the cash deposits can be a problem for those. Thanks!

Why should people buy from you?
A question that we should keep asking ourselfes is why people should by from us instead of our competition, does your busisness any advantage. Why should people buy from you, do you offer something different, is your delivery faster.

Anonymous NM LLC business tax ID question?
I have an anonymous LLC in New Mexico. I also have a federal EIN number. If I register for a New Mexico Business Tax ID number, will my name be visible if I list myself under the ācontact informationā section within the application? Or is only the person listed as āOfficerā publicly available when the business is searched in the registry? From my understanding itās only the Officer thatās public?

Shipping help!
Hi all - Iām looking for help with the logistics of shipping larger items across the country. I will be shipping furniture that cannot be dissembled (dressers, tables etc). Everything Iāve searched online just gives me ads to UShip. Is it possible to save money by shipping a few items together on a monthly basis but have them going to different locations (but within the same region)? Thanks for any help!

Whatās the best way to do e-commerce fulfillment for a new small brand?
Iām came up with a card game that Iām looking to launch and sell online. A small box of 108 cards about 8oz. Iām looking to start with a run of 2000 copies, but I canāt figure out whatās the best way to go about e-commerce, fulfillment and shipping? I know thereās options like Amazon and other fulfillment partners that come at a price and dig into my profits. Iām looking into Shopify and Squarespace as options for the e-commerce, but unsure how to handle the inbound and costumer shipping if I have to do it in-house. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Taxes for cash prizes?
I am going to host a recreational sports tournament and want 100% of the registration fees to go to the 1st and 2nd place winners for the highest division. What is the best way to document this from a tax standpoint? Do I count the registration fees as income and possibly need to give the winners a 1099 if the winnings exceed a certain amount? Could the winnings be categorized as an expense?

Tenant improvement process (from a tenant's perspective)
Hey all - I'm curious if anyone could provide some insights into what a commercial tenant has to go through (from start to finish) for their tenant improvements. Assume that it's a restaurant that is in the process of signing a new retail lease. My understanding is that there's a lot of preliminary work before any actual construction work begins, whether it's working with an architect on the site plan, pricing out your budget with contractors, and going through the permitting process. Would love to hear what are the things to be mindful of, and if there are any painpoints that you've come across in your experience. There's stuff on Google that is more high-level, so I figured I see if anyone here can be more helpful with actual details/examples. And if anyone has recommendations on how to manage everything (not sure if people just use Excel or something), that would be great. Thanks!
