Has anyone had their PPP loan forgiven by Wells Fargo yet?

I got an email from Wells Fargo saying the web form is ready to take applications, but the link in my account was nowhere to be found. In fact there is nothing in my online account indicating I have a PPP other than the deposit from April 2020. Has anyone had their’s forgiven yet by WF? Or are they still trying to get their crap together? I called WF and they just told me keep waiting be because I have “plenty of time”.

Forming an LLC in California or Michigan

A business partner and I are planning to form an LLC for a business that will be completely online. One of us is lives in California and the other in Michigan and we each have property in our states. Does anyone know what we would be best for us to do? I know that California is known for being a bad place to start a business but my understanding is that if we live in California we’d still be “doing business” from California no matter where we form the LLC. So still need to form an LLC in California or register out-of-state LLC as a foreign LLC?

New Business - what NAICS category/code?

Starting a new business, the primary focus will be managing investments owned by the business itself. Stocks, Bonds, etc. The business will NOT be managing or holding or advising investments of others. Best one i could find was "523999 - Miscellaneous Financial Investment Activities" Does anyone have any advice or experience with this type of business? Thanks in advance! (Link to the NAICS code: [https://www.naics.com/naics-code-description/?code=523999](https://www.naics.com/naics-code-description/?code=523999) )

Professional help to grow my business as well as personal wealth?

My business is coming up on 2 years. Managed to pay off all debt in under a year. This year, barring anything crazy, I should be able to pay myself a bit over 6 figures which I'm super happy about. Currently I run the books (Took me about a year with some minor help from a local bookkeeper, but I can run them in about 2-3 hrs/month now) and my only professional help is my CPA. While he has been helpful, he just seems too distant to me. He typically takes over a week to reply to me now. As we grow I really want to make sure I'm taking care of myself and the business as best as possible. I don't feel like I'm getting that right now. What type of professional help should I be looking for?

Managing inventory across locations on a super small scale?

I work at a local coffee shop that has a main location and a small drive in kiosk in the other side of town. Currently the system is that when we are low on cold brew, frapp mix, or beans, the employees text a manager who either brings over whatever is needed for from the main location or finds someone else to do it. A lot of the employees are high school kids. It’s not uncommon for things to slip through the cracks until we are completely out, and it feels so inefficient to be constantly texting. It is unclear exactly when to text aside from a vague “running low”. Also, the main location closes at 3, while the kiosk is open until 6. Anyone have any suggestions for a better system that would be clear and easily high compliance? I looked around for solutions but they all seem pretty elaborate for our little operation. I don’t have experience with this sort of thing but I would like to make this problem go away.

Concierge service for startups

Hi all, I have an idea to create a platform service for startups to connect efficiently with resources that would be beneficial for their type and stage of business. (E.g. show/connect you with financing your early stage business would be eligible for; accelerator programs you would qualify for, etc.). Would this be beneficial?

Crypto wealth has vast potential to reshape philanthropy, writes bloombergopinion's Tyler Cowen. The Bitcoin ecosystem has been self-sustaining since the beginning, and so it should hardly come as a surprise that crypto billionaires take Bitcoin itself as a model for future institutions, including in philanthropy. We should expect a relative decline in the influence of longstanding nonprofit institutions — and more weird, stand-alone projects. Venture capitalist Paul Graham has pointed out that wealth is earned much more quickly nowadays. Crypto, after all, is only 12 years old. Bitcoin billionaires haven't necessarily had to work their way up, finally achieving a top position in their 60s. "If you have a new and radical idea for how to help the poor, there has never been a better time to be a nonprofit entrepreneur," Cowen writes. Tap the link in our bio to find out how crypto philanthropists will support ideas that can quickly acquire escape velocity.

India’s devastating new wave of infections appears to have landed on its urban affluent, a group whose lives are usually insulated from the country’s worst economic and social crises. In Mumbai, India’s financial center, more than 170,000 households are in buildings that have been sealed by government authorities, which indicates the coronavirus is spreading rapidly among the city’s middle and upper middle classes. Official data show only 120,000 slum households are in areas demarcated as “containment zones,” despite the poor being packed in far more tightly. “Most cases are coming from buildings and high rises and not slums,” Suresh Kakani, Mumbai’s deputy municipal commissioner, said by phone. #coronavirus #covid19 #richindians #wealth

Resell Sneakers/ Streetwear, Should I Start an LLC or not?

Hello everyone, I run a pretty prominent sneaker business that resides in NYC. Reselling is actually my only source of income as of right now, as I made about $60K in revenue last year. I am pretty confident this year I am going to surpass that. I am currently in college but I do not study business at all. I am not the best when it come to the study of business licenses and stuff. I currently have a trademark legally for my business, but I feel like since I make good revenue, shouldn’t I have an LLC? I don’t have much of a good idea when it comes to business taxes and LLC stuff, so any helpful recommendations will do Should I form an LLC? I currently have $12K+ spent in sneaker investments with my PERSONAL money and $5-8K in business spending credit card balances. I make about $2000 to $4000 each month in profits usually. I live in NYC and when I buy sneakers through retailers, I usually pay sales tax with it 99% of the time. What do you guys think I should do? Thank you to all

I'm finally ready!

I met my goal of saving up 10k but I have been hesitant on actually taking steps to starting the process due to the fear of failing or something going wrong, which has lead me to not being as proactive productive during this time frame. So here I am, feeling overwhelmed with where to start first in getting my preserve business from idea to the "open for business" point. Does anyone know a step by step guide I could follow instead of me having all this information available and not knowing what to do first?! Thank you in advance!
