In physics, the rate of change of velocity is acceleration, the rate of change of acceleration is jerk, the rate of change of jerk is snap, the rate of change of snap is crackle, and the rate of change of crackle is pop.

Did you know? There are around 45 species of flying lizards in the genus Draco that can “fly” as much as 100 feet (30 meters) on air currents. Thanks to wing-like membranes, these reptiles glide between trees in the tropical forests of southeast Asia. Flaps of skin beneath the necks also aid the lizards in “flight,” and their tails help to steer. Beyond gliding, males also flash their membranes for courtship rituals or to claim territory. When the Post Office Tower (now BT Tower) opened in 1965 in the middle of London, the Official Secrets Act meant it was technically classified and couldn’t be included on maps. It was officially ‘revealed’ three decades later in parliament. (Image: Uli Harder CC BY-SA 2.0) https://t.co/UVeysxFCDT

President Harry S. Truman officially opened the first White House bowling alley on #ThisDayInHistory in 1947. The two-lane bowling alley, situated in the West Wing, had been constructed earlier that year. Truman did not use the alley much himself but supported a group of White House employees in forming a White House Bowling League in 1950. Eisenhower closed the alley in 1955 and turned it into a mimeograph room. Later, another alley was opened next door in the Old Executive Office Building.

With a 'Space Jam' sequel starring KingJames coming to theaters in July, the Monstars would be well served to approach this second opportunity with smarter planning. Naturally, they should look at that original defeat, as history tends to repeat itself. Considering they were leading 66-18 at halftime, one can’t help but think the Monstars let this crucial game slip away. What could they have done to prevent such a meltdown? Link in bio for a few suggestions.

In Taiwan, workers get eight days of leave when they get married. As there is not a limit to the number of times you can marry, a Taiwanese couple recently made headlines for marrying four times and divorcing three times in 37 days so that they could have extra time off work.
