When Israel launches air strikes on Gaza, Palestinians have few sources of protection. But when Palestinians fire back, Israel can bank on one the world’s most tried and tested air-defence systems for security — the Iron Dome. Here's how it works: https://t.co/xfn2kWAz9N https://t.co/peGmSUk92j

Crazy Things Employees do, Volume 1832
You can't make this stuff up. I opened a piece of mail from the state today. It was an unemployment claim... for a guy that still worked for us. His manager asked him if he filed for unemployment this morning and the employee says, stone-cold, "No." His manager then said, "You may want to make sure your identity hasn't been stolen. And hey, just a heads up, you can get in trouble for fraudulently filing." One hour later the employee says to his manager, "I'm using this letter as a sign from God and I am going to quit to focus on my own business." He then promptly left. A lot of time is spent talking about equality, but it's time we start talking about the fact that sometimes... people are just really shitty. And yes, I definitely just opposed the unemployment filing he submitted... on May 5th (while still working for us).

I have one customer - very small. Whenever he buys from me, he asks for a discount. But he always offers something in return. "What if I buy 4 cases at a time? Can you give me a discount?" I almost always take a few dollars off of the price. He is the only one who asks but also gives something in return. Some customers don't ever ask and just jump to the lower price. Some customers ask but don't want to give something in return. This guy knows that I am in business to make money and I know that he needs to save a few dollars where he can. My larger customers, with their billions in sales and high paid buyers, have never asked me what do we have to do to get better pricing? It is a conversation that I would love to have.

I just got my EIN, and now I'm ready to open up a business account. I own a one-person LLC, and I have a total of 5000 to deposit. But I'm not sure which bank to choose. I've been reading online, and I don't know if I should do internet banking or brick-and-mortar Banking, and I wondered what banks do you guys use? I don't want to have to pay for transactions. I do want a high APY, and integration with QuickBooks would be nice.
