Strange Event occured.
I was setting up my Celestron NexStar 8SE in my backyard about a year ago and I saw something very weird. I saw a stationary light source in the sky perhaps 4x the brightness of Venus and seemed to appear and disappear in about 5 minutes. This was just after sunset. It seemed somewhat in line with the ecliptic, while not moving relative to Venus. What was this?
