Leaving aside the ethics of the rich decamping to more tax-efficient climes — and the arguments over whether wealth flight means tax rises actually reduce overall receipts — the question I find myself asking is: What is living in a tax haven actually like? Is it worth it? And which tax haven is best? The last of these is a tougher question than it might seem. Tap the link in bio to read the full piece. Image: Mike Coppola/Getty Images

Is my lawyer overcharging for legal fees to start a C Corp?

We have decided to incorporate to accept investors for a seed round for our beverage company. The quote we were given for all the recommended parts seemed high but I have never created a c corp in the past. I was wondering if these charges are normal  for the type of work and possibly for recommendations on the least expensive way to get this done. In total we were quoted around $9k USD: $3k for incorporating a C Corp, $2k for initial shareholder documents, $2k for a safe agreement and reeusable templates and $1.5 for trademarks. Also, I live in NYC. Any advice would be appreciated.

Loneliness could be affecting your bottom line. Stress-related absenteeism attributed to loneliness is costing U.S. employers an estimated $154 billion annually, according to a recent advisory issued by the U.S. surgeon general, Vivek Murthy. On May 3, Murthy declared overall loneliness, isolation, and lack of connection in our country a public health crisis. Even before the pandemic, approximately half of U.S. adults reported experiencing measurable levels of loneliness, which increases the risk for individuals to develop mental health challenges in their lives. Now, the advisory notes, more than one in five adults and more than one in three young adults live with a mental illness. Is your company doing enough to support employees' mental health? Customers taking forever to pay

We have a service based business. It’s manual labor that could be just a one time thing or weekly. We’ve been invoicing customers through quickbooks/email. They range from $250-$3,000. However it seems that they don’t like to pay right away. Sometimes for a month or longer. We send a reminder email after 2 weeks but short of texting/calling “where’s my money?” I’m not sure how to approach this. Most are long time customers and I’m assuming they just don’t think about money the same way we do. I don’t want to be aggressive or lose them as a customer. I just want them to feel more obligated to pay when they receive the invoice. Paying in person isn’t always an option but we typically do collect when it is. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello All, I have a small business and I am interested in getting a CRM but skeptical in how much it can help in the growth of our business. Can anyone share from experience if a CRM has helped in the growth of their business (increase in sales, building relationships with B2C/B2B, client retention, more effective time management for you and your employees ?)

Planning to start a parkour app, feedback needed

Me and my partner are both university students with the idea to make an app that combines geocaches with parkour for an urban treasure hunt. There will be challenges catered to each spot like water challenges where you have to do hard climbs over water, floor is lave and time trials. So we tried to come up with some visuals to represent our idea and we are in the process of designing a UI for the possible future app. We will be starting a small beta trial on Instagram for the UK, we want to see how it turns out, posting locations that people can go to and find the caches. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Follow us on Instagram @geo.parkour for future updates and more information, thanks.

Commercial auto insurance on box truck we only use for storage

We have an old UHaul that we use for storage. It doesn't run. Never moves. But we have it in a parking lot so we need it to be legal to keep from being towed. We had Geico but we got notice they aren't doing commercial insurance any longer. ???? Any advice on how to find the cheapest possible commercial insurance?

Monday.com pipedrive and quickbooks?

Hello, hoping for some help here. I’m looking to organize integrate and automate my business between multiple different platforms and I keep hearing these companies. Does anyone use these 3 products together to keep stuff organized? I make custom pieces for people and there are 6 places for them to order. Pipedrive I think should communicate with them and then send info to quickbooks and Monday which then shows up on Monday.com for my employees and myself? TLDR Hoping for some insight on how to manage leads invoices and orders while keeping tracking of who is working on what order.
