Stripe collecting fraudulent debt

Stripe sent me a email today, which I never signed up for or checked my email until today because I made a new LLC but hadn’t started working. Apparently someone had access to my computer remotely through a virus or some sort and opened up a stripe account with my info. Stripe is a payment processor if I’m correct and I assume fraudulent payments were made under my business. No idea what to do someone please help. Total id 6,000$

How do you feel when supposedly profusely grateful customers won't make 1 click to leave your business a review?

You go above and beyond, you treat them like you would a friend and they thank by email thanking for the results you helped them achieve. Yet, after you ask for a review and follow up 2-3 times, they literally do not move their finger to make ONE click (they have gmail) to leave a Google review. Actions speak louder? Kind of makes you lose faith in humanity and lose motivation for your business? How do you deal with this psychologically? Especially when you're not motivated by money but by helping people. Who am I helping? Utterly selfish people?

Linkedin tool to update me when my contact gets new job?

As the title states, are there are tools out there to monitor when any of my contacts change jobs? Not looking to scrape profiles or non-contacts, just looking around if there is a tool to do this. I don't have time to constantly monitor the feed, and would be great to know when a contact (and thus a client most likely) has changed companies. Thanks

Inventory from Mexico

I have a card business and I found a seller that is willing to sell to me. The issue is that the seller buys from a distributor here in the US. Thus the seller has communicated to me the supply does not cross the border for me to get it.I understand that buying inventory cannot be deducted as a cost until after I sell it. What I am confused about is if I would still have to pay importation tax on this inventory? If I were to get audited would it be an issue to have a mexican domestic invoice and say this inventory was not imported?

Does anyone know of any self ordering Kiosks that accept cash?

I get cold calls all the time for self serving kiosks but none of them accept cash.

Starting Cleaning Supply Business - Questions

I'm interested in starting a cleaning supply business focused on selling auto detailing products. I have a couple questions and wondering what your thoughts are. 1. Should I focus on B2B or B2C? I have a full time job so I prefer to start small and then scale as needed. I'm in B2B sales so feel like I would do well in that environment. However, selling to businesses would require more inventory which I don't currently own. 2. What selling channels should I focus on? Amazon, own website (Shopify) are my thoughts for B2C. Not sure if I could find a distributor who could ship quantities needed if I decide to focus on B2B.

Starting a small online cigar shop

The target market is online, but mainly Central Florida. The goal for now is a smaller geographic region (Gainesville, Williston, Ocala, Leesburg, and over to Clermont). The main differentiation is that cigars can be ordered and delivered where you can actually pick the cigar out. As I grow it’ll transition into a same-day delivery service for a while. Eventually the goal is to grow into a B&M w/ lounge and a whiskey/fine scotch bar. Food trucks for food, etc. But I’m shoe-stringing this out. Very slowly all money goes back into the business. I’m estimating about 6 years until I’m carrying a decent humidor selection and 10 years until B&M. Any advice cigar shop owners can give?

Looking to start an LLC and buy an existing business

Me and a few friends want to start a business together and we realized that it would be a bit more cost effective to buy an existing business and rebrand then start from the ground up. One friend suggested using legalzoom to register but the reviews and people’s experience with it across reddit are overwhelmingly negative or flat out saying to just do it yourself. I’m assuming we’ll need both an attorney and an accountant but I would love some general advice. Since there are several of us and we want to buy an existing business, its making things a bit more confusing.
