Vendoring at festivals. Is it worth it?
I have a restaurant business and we got accepted to vendor at a large music festival with 80k people per day for 3 days. The costs are 35% of sales not including tips & Tax and there are the health permit fees and other costs associated. It would be our first time and it already feels overwhelming but also something that I really want to do. I guess main concern is staffing and output of our products. I'm just wondering if vendoring at these types of events is worth the effort ? I guess it could also be a way of marketing our business but irs gonna be ALOT of work. I want to get out of my comfort zone and I really wanna give it a try but not sure if it's worth it. Would we make money? Lol.

Am I Crazy?
I own a few properties around my town, and often use various contractors for jobs that are over my head. If I call 10 of them, I think i’d be lucky if 3 showed up or even followed up with a quote. This got me thinking that simply showing up for a job puts you above the fold. Am I crazy for thinking of starting a contracting business with 0 experience, with a focus on showing up on time? My thought would be to handle the bookkeeping and appointments, and let my experienced employees handle quoting and the work.

Looking for a paper check processing/receiving service
I still get several paper checks from my clients but I'm going to convert my business to full remote work and ditch the office. One of the issues this brings up though is where to receive checks. Someone on my team receives and records the payment and I deposit them using a check scanner but that will be much harder if we all work remote. Is there a service that does all that for me? Or is there an alternate I'm not thinking of?

"Google My Business" Scam Calls - What App Works Best to Block These?
I have been getting 6-10 scam calls from companies telling me my business listing needs to be updated on Google. I've heard Robokiller is a great app for that but there are a lot of reviews on the app store saying it blocks legitimate calls as well. Can anyone recommend a way to get them to stop calling? I've tried blocking numbers. Is there an app that you trust to block these spam calls? I have Verizon and an iPhone 13 Pro if that's relevant.

Forming an LLC to loan money to an out-of-state individual / LLC
Several friends want to pool money together, and loan it to another friend in a different state (he has an LLC in that state). He will pay us an agreed amount of interest every month. What's the best structure for a "loan" type of business model? Things we aren't sure of: \- Should we form an LLC in his state, since most transactions (receiving interests) will be in that state? \- Is it better for him to receive the loan as an individual, or as an LLC? Thank you for your input!

Credit Union vs Bank
I’ve come across a few posts about this but wanting to know the pulse on it now - better to bank with a large bank or credit union? For context, my business will be primarily virtual as a private practice, and will be part time initially so not a high volume of transactions/funds starting out. Mainly would like to avoid getting screwed by fees from not maintaining a high balance but also would like to bank somewhere that will work with Square and Venmo, plus have a good reputation for security. I am in the Charlotte, NC area and am currently deciding between Wells Fargo, Truliant CU and Skyla (Charlotte Metro) CU

Write Yelp Mafia a Review about your experiences with them...
Yelp has refused to take down reviews containing employee personal information and libel and refused to delete the Yelp listing when my workplace is confidential to the public isn't even a business open to the public. The review violates their content guidelines but they refuse to remove it. I've also watched Billion Dollar Bully learning about the ways it exploits small businesses like the mafia. What if we wrote reviews about them? Would they delete them? Please go on this link and write them a review if you can. Small business owners, has Yelp also destroyed your business and extorted you? https://www.yelp.com/biz/yelp-san-francisco?ylist=yelping-about-yelp-san-francisco&sort\_by=date\_desc

I think the owners of the restaurant I worked at were breaking the law but I need someone else's expertise to determine that.
Let's say the owners of a franchise of restaurants operates multiple locations. Is it illegal for them to operate them under 4 different LLC's and treat them as different businesses? Would it have been illegal for the owners to apply for separate PPP loans for each of those locations? And is it illegal if they made me enter I-9's for the employees all at once and lie about their hire date to say it was within the last 30 days? Let me know if any of you know the answers to these questions!! Thank you so much :)

Advice for the business structure of a wellness center
I'm in the beginning stages of writing my business plan and could use some advice. currently I have two LLCs, one for my private practice and one for my commercial property I plan on turning into a wellness center with multiple specialties. first question, should I have a third LLC to run the wellness center that rents from the property LLC, and then my practice LLC rents one of the rooms from the wellness center LLC? Second question, I could just rent the room spaces and all amenities on a month to month basis to the practioners. Or, I could have each practioner as an employee. Can anyone give some advice to either of those choices? I'm working on taking some Business cources to better understand this but in the mean time i apreciate your help.
