New York City, June 7th, 2023. This is so far from ok and must not be normalized. This coming week the industry heads to NYC for Puerto Rican Day Parade Weekend and Bar Convent Brooklyn. People are scared. I go to New York tomorrow, I am scared. Just because other cities looked like this before does not make it normal. Also want to make sure we consider the health of those who don't have the luxury of staying inside - the essential workers & unhoused at this time. We cannot ignore this.
