Here's a first (for me anyways). The State of Ohio's disability service bounced a check with my company? What do you do with that?

The info is still coming in fresh, but I saw that we had bounced check. Had my bank look into it and it was the F@#ng State of Ohio's department of disabilities. Anyone have any experience when the actual government bounces a check on ya?

Struggling with website creation. Please advise.

Hey Reddit, I am facing a tough decision right now for my small business. I am trying to create my own website but many of the components seem overwhelming. I could use some input from others that either have built their own website or are in the process. What did you find to be the most difficult/time consuming steps and how did you overcome them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Online ordering

Hi everyone! I'm looking to set up a web page for online ordering! I want people to be able to add items to their cart, pay, and put an address so that we can deliver. Possibly also have a feature that limits the radius in which a delivery can be made based on their address? I'm also wanting to add restrictions on when people can order. For example, they need to get orders in by Friday to have it delivered Sunday. Not sure the best way to go about that. The product we're selling is exempt from sales tax so I need to turn that feature off as well. Thanks everyone!!

Anyone here own a successful laundromat? I have always wanted to own one and would love to hear your story and thoughts behind this type of business.

My husband and I have always said we would love to own a laundromat one day and, after purchasing several rental properties, I have started shifting my research towards acquiring a small business. They seem pretty self sufficient and low maintenance but I could be WAY wrong. If you do own one I would love to know how you got started and if you have any insights, pros, cons, horror stories you can share. TIA!

Beach delivery service

I live on a tourist island. There is a main beach where all the tourists go to enjoy the sea and drink alcoholic beverages. I want to start a service that delivers bottled drinks to people on the beach, which is permitted in this area. The idea is to deliver cold drinks, rent out coolers filled with ice, and even Bluetooth speakers so that people can listen to music. I plan to expand to food delivery later. The service would operate via WhatsApp, as everyone in my country prefers to use WhatsApp over a dedicated app. I would like to know if there are similar services elsewhere from which I can learn about their experience.

Lease or buy?

For those of you who have coffee shops, do you lease or own your espresso machine? I'm looking for options on both. If you lease, where is a good place to do so? Thanks.

Public transport only for people who ride bicycles

So bikes / cycles are an amazing form of transport that is green, however only a few will use it as transport on the street because it does look dangerous (to me atleast) because of you're surrounded by cars. Also, using public transport like buses and trains is considered to be more environmentally friendly than driving a car. My ingenuous idea is... (Get rid of cars) and Why not combine the two and create public transport only for people with bikes? It'd allow you to travel larger distances and then use your bike when you get off at a stop and ride for a more manageable amount of time. You'd require less stops / greater distance between them. Hopefully there'd be less cars on the streets, roads will look nicer, can transform roads and junctions into nice green environments. So yeah, thoughts?

If a vending machine is coin-operated, can I add a bill acceptor/validator to it, even though it doesn't already have one?

I want to buy a coffee vending machine, but the coin-operated ones I found are much cheaper than the ones that have bill acceptors/validators. So, can I buy a coin-operated coffee vending machine that doesn't have a bill acceptor and add one to it?

Need help to name our tier membership for our dog park

We own a private off-leash dog park. We'll be opening up a 3rd park called The Adventure Park. The Adventure Park will be for pre-screened dogs who play well with other dogs, the other two parks are private bookings only. Access to the Adventure Park will be by either drop-in or membership. Our membership will be either: 3 tier - bronze (4 visits a month), silver (15 visits a month), gold (unlimited park access) or 4 tier membership. bronze (4 visits a month), silver (10 visits a month), gold (20 visits a month), platinum (unlimited park access). I don't just want to call our membership bronze, silver, etc. I'm looking for a name to call them. For example, we have 3 birthday party tiers: The No-Frills Pawty, The Pampered Pooch and the Pawsh Package to illustrate the 3 different levels and what you get at each level. Are there any creative minds out there to help me come up with names for our tier memberships? Thanks in advance for all your help!
