Don’t know where to start - I want to open a cat cafe
I’ve never ran a business before. I’m married in my 40s with a veteran husband. I have an AA degree - what types of courses or even degree should I go back for to be able to plan-open-run a working cat cafe.

I have started a new small business going on my 2nd year. We only make 10k in profit per year but my CPA is charging me 2.1k.
I know it depends on the business and the CPA but we don’t make that much money. We prob have like 66k in sales per year but had a lot of expenses upfront that actually put us “negative for the first year”. He charged me 2.1k upfront even though we were negative and then wants another 2.1k again for this year. He didn’t actually log into my bank account until I came into the office and did it all in one 3 hour sitting. We have an S corp. I get that he’s doing his best for “loopholes” but we were negative already and another $4k on top of our small profits feels like it’s really pushing us over. Am I being taken advantage of?

Do you need a license in the stage of FL if you are going to manage someone’s social media page?
As the title suggest do you need a license to be a manager of someone, to manage their social media page? The only thing I could find is something about registering as a talent agency but that’s not exactly what I’m doing. I’m just basically responding to peoples messages, sending out messages, scheduling posts, and giving them advice on how to grow their page. I do get compensated for this.

Piecemeal tech stack vs. all-in-one platform
What are your experiences and views on having a piecemeal tech stack vs. using an all-in-one platform? In my small business we're using Calendly for scheduling, Webflow for web design, Google Workspace for email addresses and Google Meet, Airtable as a CRM and other organisation, Mailerlite for email marketing, Payday for sending invoices, and Zapier to tie it all together (and in all honesty, I'm probably forgetting something). We use the free version where we can and paid versions where we can't. It's growing to the point where I'm starting to wonder if an all-in-one platform like Hubspot, Zoho, Monday, Mailchimp (apparently they recently added CRM functionalities) and such might be worth the cost and hassle of migrating everything.

I dropped out of high school and skipped 10th-12th grade with a GED. Now I’m 17, I sell on Amazon, and I have a successful pressure washing. But I have a MAJOR problem.
My motivation has been dwindling since leaving school because of social isolation - I have no friends that share my interest in entrepreneurship. Can you imagine trying to learn any other skill without a community? We have classrooms in school, we have teams in sports, but in business... you’re on your own. Why? If you are interested in E-commerce, or know someone who is (kids, cousins, friends etc), PLEASE send me a personal message. I know you guys are very rare. But I know you’re out there somewhere.

Digital Marketing Agency
Hi everyone. I currently run 3 physical therapy clinics. I now feel I am in need of some digital marketing expertise specifically looking at PPC advertising on Google and refining my website. I have done this myself up to press but now feel progress will require a specialist. I have contacted a few local digital marketing agencies, how much should I expect to pay for their services? Mainly looking at PPC and some website consultancy. Ideally I want them to set me up then leave me to manage, rather than pay a monthly fee. My business generates $80k profit per year if you need that for context. Many thanks!

Price for product.
Hi, I'm planning to start a small business and my first product would be a pencil case that contains: 5 black pen 5 pencils 4 coloured pens 2 erasers 5 highlighters 1 ruler 2 sharpener 2 glue stick 2 100 sheets post it noted and 1 small scissors. My questions are 1. Would you get this 2. How much will you be willing to pay for this 3. What can I add to improve it or increase the value. Thanks.

state-by-state registration for pet treat business?
I understand that by law if you are selling pet treats across the US, you should be registered in every state you sell in. I'm just wondering if anyone with a small pet treat business has navigated this and if so, how? Or do small businesses just never really get to that point and really only larger corporations with the funding to be able to do that go through with it? It would cost an INSANE amount of money to register in all 50 states especially if you have a lot of different treats! So I can't even imagine how small businesses would come up with that kind of money at first. I am also wondering how states even regulate this? Is it via taxes? I know when you hit like $500,000 or something worth of sales per year in a state you are supposed to file taxes there. So maybe at that point you are on that state's radar and you then need to comply with their state laws and register there?

Any coverage for surgery
I have an upcoming surgery that may have me out of work for 2 weeks or so. I am the only employee at my business. I have business insurance but it's more like a liability insurance ( doesn't include sick time) and I have state health insurance. Has anyone had a similar situation? ( I am in NH) Any resources or recommendations? I appreciate any feedback!

Payroll taxes question
I’m starting a new business and the main location where the employees will be working is under construction. In the meantime, a few of the employees are training at locations in multiple states. Will I need tax accounts in the states the employees are training in or could all the payroll, taxes, etc be run through the home state where the business is under construction?

What Option to Proceed with?
I am doing a case study on whether to pursue a merger, acquisition or strategic partnership or remain as competitors. Let’s say that one company has developed patented and proprietary technology that transforms abrasive noises into calming music through its tiny microchips. Another company has been discovered with very similar product. Should these two companies form a merger, acquisition, strategic partnership or remain as competitors? I do know pros and cons but given limited details, any ideas on the thought process?

Can I use an alias for a registered agent for a corporation in FL?
Currently I am my own registered agent for my corporation and from my understanding there are some downsides to this. Can I put an alias name for a registered agent on my articles for my corporation? Or does it have to be a legal name?

At what point did you decide to stop looking for a job and start your own business?
I’m exhausted by these “fake jobs” listed on LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. Many companies are posting fake listings, hiring internally, or just collecting resumes with no intention of hiring anyone at this time. I’m at the point where I think I’d have better luck starting my own business rather than looking for a job. *At what point did you decide enough is enough and you pursued entrepreneurship?*
