Anybody else struggle with hating their business sometimes?

Been feeling really burnt out lately. These feelings do come and go and I’m trying to feel grateful for what we’ve built but I’ve really been hating being at work as of late Anyone else feel the same way sometimes and know how to break themselves out of it?

What is more beneficial Accounting or HR?

If I have aspirations of owning an E-Commerce/Brand which career will be more beneficial? Unfortunately, I don't really have a passion for accounting/ hr. They both pay very well and have job security which will allow me to work on my startup. I am coming from a marketing/sales background, but I hate the consistent layoffs and bad pay.

Sales tax and Income tax confusion

Hi this may be very basic, but as a new business owner I’m about to win my first contract, and I have a few questions about taxes. For context, my businesses is a web development company in PA. 1. Is sales tax only applicable to state? Is there a federal sales tax? 2. Is there any other tax I need to charge client aside sales tax? 3. Many YouTubers recommend saving 30% of all revenue/income for in a tax account. Does that 30% include sales tax? 4. What Is The Hardest Part About Marketing Locally As a New business or Small to Mid-sized business?

For me I started a business without the knowledge how to market it. I didn't know on a local level how to buy traditional media or digital media for that matter. Digitally There were several options PPC, SEO, Youtube Ads, facebook ads etc, now there are more, for example streaming TV ads on a local and national level. The hardest part for me is keeping up with the digital marketing options and traditional and finding what is most effective for my company (aka the best ROI). What other issues have you run into as a small to mid-sized business with marketing locally?

Quickbooks vs. Xero

Looking for accounting software. I was going to sign up with Quickbooks because everyone I know uses it. But, it looks like Xero is a bit more easy to use. Does anyone have experience w/ either of these and like to share their feedback good or bad. Also this is my first business, sole proprietorship, only employee.

Small business owners: why did you start collaborating with an IT company?

I'm trying to figure out the reasons why small/medium businesses (from 25 to 75 work desks) start to cooperate with IT companies. I'm helping a local-based IT company that offers services of construction and management for information systems. My goal is to get information from CEOs and IT professionals from those companies, so as to have their honest opinion on the topic. I may further divide this request into two sub-questions: 1. Licenses needed to sell physical merchandise/products?

I've been running a small business in New York State for the past few years, and we are looking to start selling merchandise. However, until now we have been selling services exclusively so I've never had to figure out sales tax, etc. We are already registered as an LLC, have an EIN, etc. What is your advice for steps to take to legally sell merchandise/physical products? How does one pay sales tax? I'm pretty clueless here so I've been having trouble even googling my questions effectively. Most of what I've found are guides to starting a business, which we have already done.
