Is it common for large clients to not pay their invoices?
I am coming up to my first billing cycle and am getting a little bit of anxiety as I wont be able to make payroll next month if the clients do not pay their invoices within the net 5 terms in the contract. We are a new business so I am still working to build up a reserve of 6 months of payroll but not there yet. How common is it for large clients who are businesses themselves to not pay invoices?

How important is the domain extension for a new online store for a small business? (.com, .ca, .co)
I am in the process of getting my idea off the ground and need to register a domain name. The business name/brand that I want does not have the .com domain available. I’m based in Toronto and could use the .ca extension, as it is available. I’ve read that .com is the most universal extension. If I change my name/brand slightly, the .com would be available for the slightly different name. Depending on the importance of the domain extension, I may or may not want to change my desired business name. I’m just starting out, but I have dreams of expanding my business/brand as I grow. I’ve also come across .co as an alternative. What advice can you give me about domain extensions? Is it worth it to keep the business name/brand I want and go with a .ca or .co? (FYI the .com that I want is currently a parking page and I’m not that interested in pursuing brokering a deal to obtain it as I’m just starting out.)

I am sole prop looking to go to S-corp? or just do a DBA? Who/what would be a good resource to talk too?
I am a recently licensed HVAC contractor in CA, my company is under a sole prop under my name but I have been looking into incorporating as an S-Corp or maybe just setting up a DBA as the name I am using to run my business. I have hit bumps on the road having some confusion with vendors as to what name my business is under. Thinking about just going S-corp just to streamline things and get the tax benefits, etc. But I also believe that doing a DBA can fix that and streamline things without costing to much in regards to legally changing the status of my license/business to reflect the S-corp taxation treatment. There isn't anyone in my family who runs a business that I can confidently trust their opinion on things like this. I am still learning and will always be learning. A bit about myself: \-No assets \-New to operating a business \-Not much business support (mentors, family)

Are there KPI‘s and lead indicators for delegation?
This one is a bit tricky. I’m currently focused on trying to be better about delegation with my team and I’m looking for some KPI’s or lead measures that I can track throughout the week that will tell me if I’m heading in the right direction. Sales teams have: # of leads, # of outbound calls, # of proposals sent… But how do you track something that feels more subjective like delegation?
