Pope Francis on Tuesday praised the indigenous tradition of showing great respect for elders and learning from them, saying their memory must not be lost in modern society's "fog of forgetfulness." Francis is on a week-long tour of Canada to apologize for the Roman Catholic Church's role in running residential schools that tore indigenous children away from their families and became places where abuse was rampant. Indigenous leaders as well as survivors of the schools said that while the pope's apology on Monday evoked strong emotions and was a highly significant step toward reconciliation, more action needed to be taken by the Church and the government. 🔗 Read more about Pope Francis’ apology tour at our link in bio. #CatholicChurch #PopeFrancis #Pope #penance #apology #tour #Edmonton #Maskwacis #Canada #residentialschools #reconciliation #government #cemetery

.@edzitron has a crazy idea for the future of work: less hours, more outputs, and happier workers. Instead of focusing on the act of working or the number of hours spent on the boss’ gaze, employees and companies should be focusing on results. ⬇️ https://t.co/X4VjoOXCva

Telling Clients Late Fees Will Apply Now
My business currently does not charge late fees, but recently all of our clients began paying 2 months late instead of the 30 days they are given. How could I word an email communicating to them all that due to the late payments, late fees will begin applying after 30 days, all without losing clients.

Feeling defeated
I’ve been doing small businesses for 7 years now. I’ve created my own products, digital products, written books, etc. but I’ve always end up not seeing results and quitting :( I feel so defeated at this point. I haven’t made any money in so long. I get no sales on my Etsy, Shopify, or books and want to have a business partner to work on something together with.. but I’m just not sure anymore. I’ve never felt more depressed/defeated and burnt out. I dropped out of college for this and maybe that was the worst mistake I ever made. I feel like a failure.
