Need help marketing my pallet-removal website.
I developed a website that allows small businesses to list pallets that they don't need anymore. Hobbyists can pick up the pallets and use them for projects. I have a ton of hobbyists interested in it but have had trouble finding businesses to create listings. How do you think I should approach this issue? Where should I start? I don't have a lot of experience with business, but know a lot about web development. I have nearly perfected the website and spent a lot of time on it, so I would hate to see it not be successful. The website is [www.palletforest.com](https://www.palletforest.com). Thanks in advance!

At what point should I form an LLC (not making money yet)?
Several months ago I starter a blog in hopes of becoming a professional writer/critique in a specific space. In that time my audience has grown to over 1000 monthly visitors but I’m still way too small to monetize my services. My question is, when should is form an LLC? Should it be now? Should it be when I get my first “client”/sponsor? I’m technically “open for business” right now but now doesn’t really seem right since I’m not making any money. I estimate I’m about 6 months away from getting my first sponsor given my current growth trajectory, but that’s just an estimate and it could be longer or shorter than I expected.

Demand for my small business is overtaking the time I devote to my retail job.
I have too much interest in my services, and I'm finding I can't keep up with demand, and keep working my day job. I'm not quite ready to let go of the steady paycheck, though. People who have balanced a job and a business, how did you do it?

Forming of LLC
About to form an LLC for my business I’m starting. There are a few different ways to do it and I don’t know what to pick. There’s the state website that you can do it directly through or there is those LLC agencies that take your information and do it for you (Zenbusiness, Legal Zoom). What would you guys recommend? Also, in my state (don’t know if it’s just everywhere) a “registered agent” is required and from what I understand it’s just where the legal documents get sent. I was wondering if I should just put myself down as the registered agent rather than picking someone else. Any advice appreciated. The business is an online marketing business.

Tax question
My wife has a small business and is the only employee. It has been losing a small sum of $$ every year for 8 years. Less than 5 digits. This year, on a whim, she advertised locally that she would provide a completely unrelated service for cash. That actually took off. She made a decent profit and was paid almost completely cash. One person paid through an electronic means. Does the tax man care about how the business made money as long the means are legal?

Thoughts on business plan?
Hey all, I’m looking for advice on what people think about my plan for making the leap. Currently I’m working as a full time licensed electrician but I had some carpentry experience prior to getting into the electrical trade. Recently I’ve been toying with the idea of starting my own handyman service with heavy electrical influence. I want to start out small since it will just be me. I have a little bit of money saved and no debts other than a mortgage payment. I have a paid off vehicle but would like to get a reliable work vehicle that l can utilize and work out of. I own most of the tools I would need but there are a few more that I should get. I have a-lot of friends and past clients to get my name around. Would it be smart to take out a loan initially to start my business? I’ve actually never taken a loan out other than for my house.

New business, feeling lost
Hi all, My girlfriend has recently started a business composing personalised lullabies for newborns. So far she's set up Instagram and Facebook pages and she's selling them through Etsy. She's been paying for Instagram ads, but they don't seem to have have brought in any business. We're both new to this and we're trying to figure out how to get more buyers for the business and how to go about marketing it and getting more exposure? We'd really be grateful for any suggestions! p.s. We're based here in Ireland if that helps

The "Dragon Lady" Office Manager / Administrator
I'm sure anyone in small business is familiar with the type. The office admin / manager who has been with the company for years but is borderline impossible to deal with. Where doing anything slightly as a favor or outside the norm is seen as an impossible task. Just generally not the best person to deal with. For years, I always wondered why companies kept these sorts around. Why would you want to work with someone like that on a daily basis? Today, I completely understand it. They protect your business from the total insanity of saying "yes" to everything or always being terrified to stand up for yourself. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, they are protecting your business more than the people pleaser "yes man" who constantly puts you under the gun. I'm not sure I could work with someone like that on a day to day basis, but today it finally hit me why these types can last so long at certain companies and be seen as major assets.

Outsourcing a job and still being profitable while paying taxes on all of it?
I run a small 1 man marketing agency, and in the rare case of outsourcing, it's usually just a small percentage of a larger job. I want to start paying another agency to handle my social media clients, but I wasn't sure how taxes work. Do I write off the entire amount I paid them to do the job Let's say my client pays me $1100 for the month, and then I pay this other agency $1000 to do the work. At the end of the year, do I pay taxes on the $1100, or just the $100 profit?

Help - what kind of attorney do I need?
My husband is purchasing a company with two other shareholders. I am confident in the future success of the business so no concerns there. I would like an attorney independent of my husband & the shareholders’ attorney to review the buy-sell agreement that he’ll be entering in as well as the spousal consent that I will be required to sign, however, I don’t even know what type of attorney deals with these types of matters. I assume a contract law attorney would be able to assist but not positive. What type of attorney would you recommend reaching out to independently review these documents?

Own an s/corp for a business I no longer run
I opened an S-corp in October of 2020 for a custom merchandise company (tshirts. Stickers. Decals. Etc) the company never got off the ground (because of covid, no time, plus I got extremely sick) over the course of the last 10 months I’ve been doing online work (unrelated) and making substantial money. How do I go about moving forward to make my current gig an entity? Do I start another s-corp? LLC? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
