Best domain extension for small businesses

Hello!! I am creating the website for my own small business. I would like to ask if the classic extension > .com is better than .online , that site-builder proposed to me. Or both are fine? Also, is it better to have letter characters only, or a dash at the middle works fine ( for example, myexample.com or my-example.com)? Thank you!!

Chase is shutting down business account for fraud, no other explanation given...WTF?

Me and my business partner started our seasonal business last year. It was successful beyond our expectations. It's our offseason, and with no notice we received an email saying our account was being dissolved in 10 days and we're locked out of our business account (which also includes a business credit card). We have tried to do everything by the book, but this is extremely confusing and frustrating. We have no idea what we did wrong, if anything, and Chase won't tell us anything other than our account is being dissolved and our balance is being sent in a check. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any idea what we can do? We're kind of freaking out because we have payments and services tied to our business account and we don't want penalties and credit hits from not being able to pay these things.

Creative company choosing a domain name modifier: "creative", "hello", or "team"

I'm branding my freelance business as a hybrid production company and creative agency. I run the company myself and put together teams of freelancers and contractors on a project by project basis. I have a name picked out (I'll call it "brandname" here) and the domain "brandname.com" is selling for $15k, which I don't want to spend so I'm brainstorming a modifier. My first option is "brandnamecreative.com" but I have a feeling a lot of freelancers use the word "creative" in their company names and domains so this could make me seem small. Am I overthinking this? The other available options I like are "hellobrandname.com" and "teambrandname.com". I've run a trademark screening, got approval from my lawyer, and filed for a trademark. So I'm all clear in that regard.

Where can I find people to talk to about maybe developing a certain app?

I've had this idea for a while now and I'm scared to disclose the idea and that. I'm not a coder or have much understanding when it comes to App and web development. I'd like some advice and maybe pitch the idea and get constructive criticism.

Founding a company

Hi, I'm attempting to launch a medium sized bitcoin mining operation with two friends of mine. Me and one of my partners wanted to do a 33.33% split for every founder, an even split for all, regardless of capital put in or work put in. The other partner would like 80% of the company and for the other 2 founders to retain 10% each. This partner offers all of the capital for the business approximately $1,000,000 to purchase the miners, setup the facility & scale up. Both other partners have no money to put into the business but will be doing majority of the technical work. We have already offered a disproportionate amount of profit until he recoups initial capital and even 2x his investment, in order to retain the equal equity split, but he doesn't want to take that deal either. I would like to know what you guys think of this situation and what I should do.

How to make sale to mentor?

I asked my mentor if he’d be willing to have his biz demo my product. He just said “we barely use (competitor). Just for some things here and there.” It feels like he’s saying no without saying no. I don’t want to seem pushy and make him feel uncomfortable. What should I do/say?

Will I be able to get a loan to buy a well established business?

I want to purchase a well established business from an acquaintance since they’ll be moving out of state. I’ve checked their yearly income revenue & it’s a fairly successful business with regular customers, I could easily pay off the loan in couple of months. However, it might sound stupid cause it’s hard to get a first time business loan but I’m wondering if there is a way that I can get roughly $50k for a first time business owner?

Finding employees for a bakery?

I own a couple of bakeries, which are doing very well, but my baker, who has been with us for over 20yrs is getting ready to retire and I am having a tough time finding a replacement. I understanding baking is a very tough profession, but I am willing to pay 6k a month starting off, and still can't find anyone. Any advice on how I could potentially find a baker because I am starting to think the only option I have is selling the business, which I don't wont to do because it is doing very well currently. Before anyone asks why I don't do the baking, this thought has occured to me, but I have other small businesses which I own and I'm currently working full time there (12hr days, 7 days a week).

Would you use this? I'm Considering A small Business Venture

Hey r/smallbusiness! I'm considering starting a small business venture and wanted to get the community's insight. My idea is a chrome extension that helps businesses save employees time, cutting down on training costs and improving speed of onboarding by allowing them to connect their Google Doc SOPs everywhere they need them (by URL). Quick concept video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpKrDwhCAJ4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpKrDwhCAJ4) I'm not sure how useful this would be to every business, but thought it could help. Would an app like this be of interest to you? Or is it something that’s not very useful? Thank you so much for your help!

Same-day global delivery

Idea in a nutshell: A premium delivery service capable of delivering packages anywhere on the globe within 2.5 hours. My company needed to ship something from one EU country to another (northern to Southern Europe), and fast - the package needed to reach the client in under 24 hours. When we checked FedEx, DHL, etc, the price for sending the package was just over €400/kg. Ultimately it was cheaper for someone to board a last minute flight and hand-deliver it. This made me wonder how big the market is for very short delivery times. I would imagine something like this benefits e-commerce businesses who would struggle to compete with Amazon’s infrastructure, and would make consumers happier with shorter delivery times. I know it’s an open question, but how much would you/your company be willing to pay for a 1-100 kg package to be delivered anywhere globally within 2.5 hours? Context/explanation would also be appreciated. Thanks!
