What was the reason for the massive 50% price dip in Bitcoin in May 2021, in the midst of the bull run, before recovering all of the losses back again over the next few months
There was a somewhat anomalous mini-crash in the price of Bitcoin right smackdab in the middle of the last bull run. Was there a trigger event or bad news story that came out to cause this massive dip? The stock market did not experience a dip like this at the time. And the 2017 Bitcoin bull run didn't experience an event like this either (at least not nearly to this scale). Does anyone have an explanation for what caused this? [Bitcoin Price drops from $60k to $33k in the middle of the bull run](https://preview.redd.it/hbfv6gohe8ga1.png?width=942&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=0f14e2e7099d812a6fca0abfb3365e2b41acbce3) Edit: Some people have mentioned Elon Musk (Tesla) announcing they would stop accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment. This happened on May 12th, which seems to line up perfectly here. There was also mention that the bounce back up to $69k was due mostly to FTX and other manipulators pumping the price. Any evidence of those rumors?

Who's selling?
Hi Everyone, As an r/CC aficionado, I am excited to see what the future might bring. In my opinion, MoonPlace and a potential NFT marketplace (Super Bowl Avatars anyone?) are the start of something amazing. I also enjoy seeing the price of our beloved moons keep rising and this brings me to my questions. I've read multiple posts and comments about the potential of them hitting $1 dollar. Do people plan on selling once we hit $1 dollar? Will the penalties prevent people from selling? I understand that a few extra dollars can be beneficial, especially if you're already struggling. However, is selling your bag worth being penalized for an extended period of time? I am interested to hear everyone's opinion.

DCA BTC 21 straight months, and now looking to diversify. What are you DCA and why?
I've been DCA investing $250 every pay period (2 weeks) for 21 months straight, with $150 to BTC and $100 to ETH. I've invested bits into XRP, SOL, ADA, MATIC, DOT as well. I'm looking to add $50 DCA investing to another crypto, but for those of you also DCA into a crypto, what is it and why? Is it a memecoin that you see a big pump for. Is it a blue-chip that is about to turn the corner? Is it an altcoin that you love the reason, Team, ecosystem?? I want to know more about whatβs driving others to invest in what they invest in. Also, The crypto that you are investing in, do you recommend others to look deeper into it? Or is it just for fun?

Youtube is verifying (ticking) scam channels which imitate legitimate crypto channels
This is the official CoinMarketCap channel: [https://www.youtube.com/@CoinMarketCapOfficial](https://www.youtube.com/@CoinMarketCapOfficial) This is a scammer one (don't click on it if you are afraid to): [https://www.youtube.com/@Cmcnewsoffical](https://www.youtube.com/@Cmcnewsoffical) The scammer channel has copied the name and banner of the official channel and has even listed videos from it. Its main video promotes an Amazon token distribution scam. It's pretty well made and may fool some people. The scam channel has a tick on it and 1.55 million subscribers. That's over 4 times what the official channel has. It is unacceptable that Youtube would allow this channel to have a verified tick on it. There are a lot of noobs who may fall for these scams. When you see some Youtube comments promoting new Amazon tokens such as AZ44RT it is for scams such as these.
