Do not buy Reddit Coins with MOONs

While one of MOONs use-cases is that you're able to exchange them for Reddit coins, the ratio is extremely bad. Currently, you can buy 100 coins for 40 MOONs. Alternatively, you can buy 1,800 coins for $5.99. At the current price per MOON of 0.3072 (as of writing), 40 MOONs equals to roughly $12.3, meaning you can actually buy 3,600 coins and have, a solid 36x more. Hell, if you wanted to buy just 500 coins, you'd pay 200 MOONs, or $61-worth, when in reality, you can buy this amount for $1.99. Just don't do it, please.

The Moon/ETH Liquidity pair on SushiSwap just hit 10 days of $50K+ daily volume, beating the prior record of 3 consecutive days!

SushiSwap just hit 10 consecutive days of $50K+ Daily Volume, This is the highest ever streak of this daily volume. This beats the prior record of 3 consecutive days of $50K+ daily volume which occured during the launch of MoonPlace and the launch of CCIP-051 rewards. You can see this incredible surge in daily volume on the all time graph on SushiSwap. https://preview.redd.it/gtp8mlap7jpa1.png?width=868&format=png&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=d97f3d64de4a15c9c4e08b58a1cd5085c6e102ac 2023 has been an incredible year so far for Moons. We saw the Banner Introduction, which burns Moons, MoonPlace, Moon Rewards for Liquidity Providers, and recently the airdrop of the Abritrum Token, bringing attention to Arbitrum Nova. As a result of all these things volume on SushiSwap is booming and TVL continues to climb. Here's to what the rest of 2023 has in store for Moons!

I am petrified. Just discovered my net proceeds from Bitcoin from Cash App was $43,255.92 for the 2021 tax year. My tax appointment is coming up. Just how screwed am I?

Am I going to owe the government like $20,000?

I know it sounds silly but i sleep much more peaceful after i sold all my alts and started investing in BTC, feel like im actually investing rather than gambling

I know it sounds stupid and silly but now that i'm i investing only in BTC i sleep so much better at night and i feel like im actually investing instead of gambling.. I admit i made some mistakes investing in altcoins last year, but honestly strange feeling when im aware that things can go downhill pretty quick for any altcoin, no matter its just hacking issue, devs leaving etc had made me worry a lot.. I know even BTC is risky and dont invest more than you can afford to lose but now im actually feeling rather confident in investing and just love to DCA into something that i feel really confident its a good investement

Friend says crypto is a Ponzi and has no use

Every time I have a discussion with my friend about crypto, although I make it clear that its core functionality as of right now is decentralization. He seems adamant in that crypto is a Ponzi scheme since it has no worth, because it has no use because it doesn't fix any problems. We seem to go in circles, and I can be quite bad at articulating myself at times. I would love to know how you guys make others understand, especially when they call crypto a Ponzi scheme or that crypto does not fix anything.

I have come to realize that crypto is not the best way to financial success

I think that at one point every one of us has seen the potential of crypto catapulting us into financial success and thus we deemed it to be the best solution. This is however not true, the best way to achieve your financial goals is to invest in yourself first and foremost, by acquiring skills or going back to school and getting a better job. Then when you have a job that earns you more money, you will be able to invest into crypto with numbers that will actually give you significant returns. Realistically if you currently can’t invest more than let’s say 1k a year, the potential gains will never be truly substantial. One thing i will add is that it is 100x easier to find a good job than finding the next 100x coin.

Crypto in the news.

Whenever I see crypto outside of the communities I’m in/follow, it’s all super negative. Have you ever seen a positive crypto story in the news or success stories without people commenting how lucky there are or a gambler? Have you ever had a positive, constructive conversation with someone around crypto that’s not invested? It seems to me that you’re either in love with crypto or completely against it. I’ve not seen much middle ground. I hate how negative the perception of crypto is amongst the wider public, really bugs me that I can’t bring something up in conversation that I’m SO passionate about without being ridiculed. Rant over…

Can governments take any real action against bitcoin?

1. A growing percentage of citizens own bitcoin. By taking action against bitcoin that impacts the price negatively, politicians would be harming their own constituents. A ban on bitcoin becomes more untenable each year. 2. By taking action against bitcoin, the government would be strenghting the use case for bitcoin itself. Bitcoin is decentralized, not controlled by central entity. It is value that you can self-custody. If a government takes action against bitcoin, it is just highlighting the use case for bitcoin (executive order 6102 would be difficult to carry out) Even if governments around the world are against bitcoin, it is going to difficult to have the political will or strategic upper hand to take action. What do you think? What am I missing?

Accepting Crypto At My Family's Restaurant

Hello, I'm looking at options to receive tips in Bitcoin at my family's restaurant. We don't accept credit tips, only cash and id like to expand that. While I don't expect hardly anyone to want to tip in BTC, I think it's nice to spread the word in a passive way. My question is what would be the best service or POS to use? I'm not sure tipping BTC up front would be user friendly to the employees on register. So I'd like to make it somewhat convenient. Or would it just be better to accept BTC for any payments made online only? Thanks for any suggestions!
