I have not met anyone who turned to crypto thanks to bank fiascos, did you?
Since I'm travelling extensively from Europe to the US to Australia to Korea and India, I spoke to 100+ people in the last month about crypto. I have not met anyone who turned to crypto after the news broke out that banks are no longer sifu. All I met are crypto people who doubles down believing non-crypto people are awakening and non-crypto people showing more fear of crypto. The people in this sub seem to think that the weakness of the banks points people to crypto and we are on the cusp of mass adoption. The opposite may be true: if well-regulated banks have problems, crypto is full of scams so it should be worse off. The weakness of the banks may make people stay further away from crypto. The increase in crypto users may actually slow down or reverse. I'm talking about the public perception, not your wet dreams. Your wet dreams depends on the public taking your lead.

Will you purchase meme coins?
We have all see the potentially huge gains that have been made on many meme coins. There are of course many who lose out on projects that never catch on or just the wrong timing. My question to you all, will you purchase meme coins in the future? Have you been burned. Or are you prepared to make a few purchases as lottery ticket style purchases? For me, I did buy a couple of meme coins back in 2017/2018. Got burned by them and then last bull run actively decided I am not going to buy any. Yes I missed out on potentially huge gains. But I can focus on the projects I feel have a long term future Interested to hear your thought?

Where do you get your crypto news?
Cryptocurrency has undoubtedly become a part of the mainstream. It is covered by almost every major traditional and non-crypto news outlet and social media to varying degrees. Everyone has a preference for specific news sources and where they seek out the latest news. That being said, I am interested in what the typical Redditor's go-to source is to find crypto news. Reddit may seem the obvious choice for many, but I've narrowed down the poll question below. **You want to find the latest crypto news for the day, what is the first place you look for news?** *\*Note that examples are just for reference, and the category may cover other news sources. If your option is not listed, feel free to comment.* [View Poll](https://www.reddit.com/poll/121xdmd)

The situation in Europe is worse than that in the US. Inflation in the UK. is still 10.4%. The financial guardrails established in 2008 are not as high as those in the US. we can expect another wave of Bitcoin.

Be careful guys
I noticed something lately. More people suddenly started asking me about how to get into crypto. I am someone who is 7 years in the space and some of these people were really anti crypto in the past. From my experience, every time when there is an unusually high number of noobs asking me how to get into crypto a crash in prices follows soon after that. Same happened in late April 2021 and late December 2018. Then I unfortunately didn't sell a lot. That said, now I made some defensive moves, sold some of my BTC. In short term I think it should work. Just noticed a hype cycle so I will stay short in some period (probably max few months) 'til it cools down.

What is your crypto scam story?
Cryptocurrency has become increasingly popular over the past few years, but unfortunately, it has also attracted a fair share of scams. Have you personally been a part of one? Have you almost fallen for one but noticed it at the right time? From phishing to hacking attacks, scams can take many forms. In the era of FOMO we can quickly lose our sense of danger and fall for something that would seem incredibly obvious otherwise. Has there been a time that you yourself forgot to follow your rules of safety end ended up taken advantage of?

What Are Some Interesting Use Cases of Crypto
As time passes more and more crypto use cases have come to fruition. Things such as gaming, AI, medicine, and even real estate fractionalization are now utilizing blockchain technology. Do you think these uses are warranted and/or needed? Are they scammy? Should crypto only be used as a store of value with minimal or no other utility? What are your overall thoughts on what crypto is being used for today? What other areas do you think could benefit from blockchain technology in its current state?

Concerning option on Vault
Hi r/cc, today i went into my vault and i saw a banner promoting me to backup my wallet with Google drive. (Can't post a picture but if you open the vault you might see it too) Needless to say this a really bad idea. Your seed shouldn't be backed up on a device, much less on a server. If your Google account is compromised then so would your wallet. There are countless posts about it on the sub, so it is rather worrying that Reddit would push you towards this dangerous practice. This is a good way to lose control over your moons. I wouldn't trust Google with my seed, and IMO neither should you.

Would you consider moons as an innovative token?
Would you consider moons as an innovative token? It's having an impact on our daily lives that no other crypto has rn and 99% won't ever. And if other socials also follow, creating their own crypto, this could potentially revolutionize the way we use social media. People will not just be hooked with the apps but also, for some, it will be their only source of income. This will be The true 'metaverse' we all will be hooked to. Crypto, a currency of the internet, as it's name intends, will have a great use on socials if done right. It may not be successfully incorporated into gaming as many companies beleive, but can have a huge roll in shaping this social media environment. This may not be the best direction we are headed to, but looks like that's where most of the major mainstream adoption will take place. What do you all think? Do you see Moons as a start that could change the way we use social media? Or do you have concerns about the use of cryptocurrency on these platforms?
