Mustache on 5 year old

My 5 year old daughter has had a mustache (dark hair) since she was a baby. She is very confident, kind and smart child. However, she is now in school and her best friend told her only boys have mustaches (and other kids have said things too). I told her that every body is different and that she can tell her friends such. However, she is still very self conscious about it. I didn't think we would deal with this until she was 10ish and always plan on letting her do whatever she wants with it then. But at 5 years old, not sure what to do. It is very noticeable. Advice?

I feel evil but I hate when my husband is sick because it's one more kid

There's a stomach bug going round and I've been managing 2 sick kids plus my 40 hr + job all week on my own. Husband woke up sick with the same bug and he has called his entire family (parents and siblings) that he's very ill. He's nauseous but can't make it to the bathroom so he's throwing up on a dirty shirt beside his bed even though I've offered a bucket. When the kids threw up, I managed to keep it off the floor and cleaning immediately. Now I know I have to be the one to clean his vomit too while dealing with calls from his family about giving him ORT 🙂. He's been sick for about 6 hours. I feel bad for thinking it because if it's really bad, I won't forgive myself for feeling like this. But I'm tired

Had to re-home my cat for my baby today.

I'm pretty heartbroken, and I feel like a terrible person. I've always believed getting a pet was a lifetime commitment, but my cat started attacking me during my pregnancy and didn't stop after giving birth. I was giving him time to adjust but then he aggressively charged my son and my significant other stopped him from batting him. So we decided to give him to a coworker who had just lost their cat. Everything I do makes me miss him. I wonder if I made the right decision and if the person we gave him to is good enough. Idk what to do, I'm just hoping I did what's right for my son and my cat. 😔

Hey y’all. I have been a pretty regular commenter and poster for years on here and had to get a new account….. anyways I’ll cut to the chase. I just discovered my daughter has been trying to get her little brother to do sexual things with her. I pretty much walked in on her as she was pulling up her pants and the flood gate opened because my son does not lie. I was molested by an older sibling and I 100% do not know what is normal or not because of it. Like I really do not even know where to begin other than keep them separate and call her pediatrician on Monday and hope they can keep her fast tracked into therapy. Please help.

Does anyone just do their own hair instead of the salon?

I found an easy to follow tutorial for DIY side bangs by a real hair stylist. I haven't used box dye since high school and I only use my shears for small end trims. Idk WHEN I'll have the time with two littles to get a trim and colour. I can't see my 18 month old doing well in a salon for a basic 15 minute trim. My hair and lack of shape/style has been distressing me for months now, my last hair stylist gave really meh long curtain bangs that I regretted. Anyone just do their own hair? If so is it worth it?

How do you guys do it?

I have a 4 month old I love to pieces but I just cannot be there the way she needs me to. I try to hold her as much as I humanly can but I’m physically exhausted and sometimes I need to put her down. Problem is that she won’t nap for longer than 30 minutes and the second I put her down when she’s awake she screams. My house is slowly falling apart. I haven’t mopped in months and the mess is giving me depression. My husband cleans for me on weekends but during the week he’s exhausted from his job (very labor intensive) I live in a tiny town with no family around and no day care. I HAVE to cook or we don’t eat. 30 minutes is not enough time to complete a chore. .

My two sisters in law and mother in law went to the Taylor Swift concert together. I wasn’t invited and didn’t even know they were going until they posted pictures about how fun it was. I always feel so excluded and like I’m not part of the family. My side of the family lives far away and I feel like I have no one. It’s lonely here.

Babies & Water

At what point can babies drink water that isn’t distilled? We are going on vacation (United states) when my LO is 1 year and I’m wondering if regular water bottles is okay? Smart water? Fiji water? And also at what age is tap water okay?

Reading to baby

So, I saw somewhere that you’re supposed to read a book a day to baby. This was cool up until 4m and now my baby is just so curious and wants to just eat the book instead. What is it that is important to accomplish here? Looking at the book, touching the book, talking? Would love to just focus on what is important and maybe come back to traditional reading when we get some attention back. Thanks!

Bumps and eczema rash on 8 month olds feet

US healthcare

I know everybody knows this story but lemme vent a bit before I throw a chair. My 3 year old has an ear infection. Woke up leaking pus. Called her pediatrician, oh well due to the US treating healthcare workers like shit, no more urgent care, you’ll have to take her to the ER. Cool. ER has an AVERAGE wait time of TWELVE FUCKING HOURS. I’m single momming with a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old there is no way. Call back pediatrician and ask for an appt asap then, surely they can do that? FUCKIN NOPE. Call on Monday bitch and hope we can do something 🤷🏾‍♀️. And once she does get seen, I know I’ll be pinching to scrounge up the money to pay for it all. Also the US “wHy nO kiDz?!” I’m so fucking tired y’all. One thing after a fucking nother and I beaten. Thanks for letting me rant.

My body was like “It’s ok, I’ve got this!” I forgot to wear breast pads so it was painfully obviously what was happening when two circular wet patches appeared on my light grey dress haha.

Sharing naked pictures of my baby girl

I have a 2 month old daughter and like any new parent, my husband and I have a million pictures of her on our phone. Some pictures are of her naked (bath time etc.). My husband and I have a strict no social media rule for any pictures of her. But are happy to share pictures of her with family and friends. Some of them get shared further (mother in law sends some to her friends). My husband wants to share some of the naked pictures because they are so cute (they are!). I feel really uncomfortable. He thinks it’s ok since it’s to his parents and he will tell them not to share with anyone. My two reasons for not wanting to share: 1) she didn’t consent and 2) I can’t guarantee that they will not be shared further and there are creepy people in the world. Thoughts?
