I know pretty much everyone is excited about the crypto alert that Gensler was forced to resign from an internal investigation. The source is anonymous and is probably made up for clicks. Don’t get your hopes up on this and hopefully we will get some confirmation either way from the agency. Careful what you wish for as well. You could get a more hard liner at the head of the agency if the rumor is proven true. Again, this is just a rumor about Gensler resigning. There’s no real confirmation on this. You can hate on him all you want, but he’s probably not leaving until there’s a new administration that feels like he should be replaced.

Kraken withdrawal fee still at "temporary" 20x increase

The [mempool](https://mempool.space/) is pretty much back to normal, sitting pretty at 10 sat/vB or about $0.43... So whats up with Kraken still keeping the BTC withdrawal fee at over $6? They promptly increased the fee because of the congested mempool few months ago, bringing it from 1000 sats to 20,000 sats, a 20-fold increase. And here we are now, still having to massively overpay for our withdrawals, even though it's nowhere near the levels where they justified the drastic fee increase. Why is Vitalik so supportive of Solana?

There’s been a few times where he’s specified Solana as a worthy competitor to ETH, solving things differently than EVM. It’s candidly a great ecosystem that’s decentralized a ton (much higher nakamoto coefficient than every blockchain but BTC), has gotten rid of bad actors (Alameda/FTX investments), and now has great teams with maturing products (Jito, Squads, marginfi, Drift, etc) I just always see ETH people get super defensive every time people try Solana, so Vitalik seems different. Wondering people’s thoughts.

Lost in Bitcoin's literature...

Alright, I thought I'd go and grow my knowledge about Bitcoin, and it turns out I can't even decide where to start and how to navigate the complex literature of Bitcoin. Whatever point I chose to make a start on, as soon as I felt comfortable on what I've read, I found another resource that goes even deeper... Even the FAQ here and on bitcoinbeginners is a hustle. It's not that I don't know anything about Bitcoin, how it works or what makes it valuable, it's simply that I feel like I don't get the definite answer. Like there's always a sequel that you'll wanna find to really "get it". Are there any **absolute** resources about the basics of Bitcoin ? It's value proposition and the technical part in layman's terms ? Different adres-types and improvements ? I've even tried and asked my question to ChatGPT, and although the answers aren't bad, it isn't what I'm looking for either.
