The NFT that Justin Bieber had bought for $1.3m is now worth $59,000

Justin Bieber had bought this Bored Ape NFT last year, in January of 2022, at the peak of the NFT craze, especially the Bored Ape NFT series. He was among the many celebrities who bought these NFTs for prices that people most thought were ridiculous, and it's safe to say that their investments didn't pay off at all. I think the main reason for these purchases was to profit off of them, seeing them more as investments than anything else, and hoping that someone else would pay a higher price for it. No one however did, at he's down around $1.2m from his initial investment. I don't know who advised these celebrities to make these investments, but these were purely gambling, and it played out like one as well. NFT hype died out and all the prices are now nowhere close to what they were. Here's the link to the NFT in question: https://opensea.io/assets/ethereum/0xbc4ca0eda7647a8ab7c2061c2e118a18a936f13d/3001

Ethereum Dev: "Decentralization Doesn't Matter"

So, it's right near the end, around 1:13:10 "What is the value of decentralization? We lose it... but it doesn't matter." Now that Ethereum is obviously becoming more and more centralized, Ethereum devs are now questioning whether this is a problem. AND NO ONE QUESTIONS the statement. Six people there, including Vitalek, and they all just nod and smile. Is this the Ethereum you signed up for? Is this really the set of coins you bought a year ago? And they're also talking about changing the slashing. It sounds like they haven't even figured out what their goals are, much less how to reach them. They don't appear to have a roadmap. Notice how all the major scams in the crypto space were all from CEXs, not DEXs...?

I'm not saying DEXs are free from scams. In fact, scams happen way more often on DEXs. But what I'm talking about is the sheer volume of money and number of people that were affected. If you put CEXs and DEXs against each other, the amount of people scammed and the numbers of funds stolen by CEXs DRASTICALLY exceed those of DEXs I get that using CEXs is way more convenient (and so is ramping), but the crypto community needs to start learning more how to DEXs and depend on them Ethereum has a wide array of DEXs with great UI/UX, and for those that complain about chain isolation, there are always IBCs like Cosmos. DEXs there like Osmosis have so many assets that you can to another chain on the network. Similar is the concept with Polkadot (although I'm not familiar with how the chain works exactly) Bottom line is, yes DEXs have scams, but you can avoid them by being careful. CEXs on the other hand can completely wipe out your funds regardless of how careful you are

How do I get my money from binance?

I bought some crypto back in 2021 during the whole craze and converted it into a stable coin last year but then left it alone and forgot about it. The other day my dumbass self suddenly remembered it and after regaining access to my binance account decided to move everything from my trust wallet to my binance account not knowing they had halted all USD transactions back in June. My question is how do I get that money on binance into my pocket in the cheapest way possible? I started with about 63ish dollars in crypto and I’m now at about 56-58 after the fees on a bunch of conversions trying to move the money.
