Why does "nobody" talk or even know about cryptocurrencies?

I dont mean us with "nobody", but people around us. Without saying that I invested in crypto, I tried to poke around and subtly check out if people know crypto: - Nobody in my workplace knows what cryptocurrencies are - none of my friends know crypto - almost noone in my family (except for one cousin who is a shitcoin degen, but I don't count him, because he is just a gambler) have ever heard about crypto - those occational random encounters on bus, train, whatever...smalltalks. They are completely clueless about crypto. So in my view, it feels like 98% of people don't know cryptocurrency and 1% are thinking that it is a ponzi. The rest 1% who have heard about it: - either thinks highly of it AND have invested in it - or think it's good, but don't invest in it. Cryptocurrency is still so unknown and/ or misunderstood.

What is the worst shilling in this sub you fell for?

As the title says I would like to know what was the worst shilling or advice taken from this sub you have listened to which turned out to be really bad? For me it was the Crypto.com credit cards. I have seen so many posts saying how great the cashback was. I ended up getting the $3500 card. My funds being locked for half a year was terrible and I had to watch the CRO token implode. In the end I was able to cash out the remaining $500 and the whole cashback I accumulated was well under $100. Now they have basically made the card unusable aswell with no cashback and top up fees so there is no way to recover here.

How to become successful trader

Sorry if this isn't appropriate post. I'm basically a newbie, dabbled and been off on following for a few years. I have lots of time now to get serious and I'm looking for advice on best ways to learn skills to become, hopefully, a successful day trader. Any and all advice is welcome. What helped you? What would you do differently? I'm Canadian, currently have bitbuy and binance but my binance days are numbered as they're pulling out so I'll also take advice on the best software to use, as well as set up you found useful in your home for trading. I hope this is 500 characters!

Instead of multi-sig, We can divide the 24 words into 2 or 3 or whatever you want, and save each part in a different place.

is the standard multi-sig somehow superior to that method?

Flexa - AMP??

Is Flexa-AMP still alive? Full disclosure, I was definitely more bullish on other payment systems but now that amp is near the bottom of the ocean I’m wondering if the project is still alive? $.002 doesn’t seem like a bad gamble if the project is still moving forward. Are they building? Are the Developers active? Have there been any recent partnerships or integrations? How is the teams financial situation? How many people are actually using the payment rail? What’s the transaction volume? Any type of information on flexa would be much appreciated. Thank you!

One of the things about bitcoin that i really like...

... is that a lot of the people who are early adopters are wise and ethical people. they understand keeping an open mind, the see the inherent unfairness of fiat system, they have a low time preference, they are smart, they care about the future generations. the fiat based, hyper-capatalistic, uber consuming, system rewards greedy psychopaths who will step over their own mother to make a buck. id much rather have the wise, empathetic visionaries at the controls, ya dig? and we will!
