**This is huge, very positive.** The CEO of the biggest asset management company is so bullish on Crypto Industry as a whole. First the ETF Filing (and SEC acknowledging it) and now this statement, this shows how much of potential crypto has to change to world. His exact words were “Because it’s so international, it will go beyond each individual currency in currency valuation.” So shocking to see such statement coming from the same guy who back in 2017 said “Bitcoin just shows how big the demand for money laundering is in the world.” ​ ​ This will look great to the newcomers and no coiners too who haven't have heard of crypto or have a bad reputation of it in their minds.

Gensler responds to recent XRP ruling and says he's disappointed with the ruling.

So Gary Gensler was asked about XRP ruling at the press conference and it is the first words he said about since the ruling was done. So basically we can hear that Gary Gensler is quite butthurt about the ruling, and can't take the L very well.

Buying Bitcoin ETF vs Buying Actual Bitcoin

I apologize beforehand if my knowledge of ETF's is lacking. First, my understanding is that an ETF is much like a mutual fund, where it mirrors or tracks the value of the underlying asset (in this case - Bitcoin). If the value of Bitcoin goes up, the price of the ETF share goes up and vice versa. Second, my understanding is that this would be aimed at "traditional" or "retail" investors, allowing them to have exposure to Bitcoin. Third, this is all assuming perfect world scenario's where the Bitcoin ETF(s) get approved in the US. So my question would be if I had X number of USD, is there any difference between owning $X Bitcoin ETF's vs owning $X of actual bitcoin which would be stored in my wallet with my keys?

Somehow I missed this one: California passed a bill through the Senate and it's almost all the way through Assembly, if it passes and becomes law it would limit bitcoin and other "digital currency" kiosk use to a 1,000 dollar limit per day. I don't use kiosks but oppose this bill on principle.
