Mixing wasn’t even my favorite feature of Tornado Cash.
Mixing wasn’t even my favorite feature of Tornado Cash. My favorite feature was that I could use it like gift cards. I could send some crypto to Tornado and generate a redemption key. Then send that redemption key to somebody for their birthday or whatever event. They get to redeem it whenever they want. And I won’t need to ask them for their address ahead of time (which ruins the surprise) they won’t need to send me their address for fear that I might snoop on their history. It’s more generous than just sending someone a free e-greeting card and gift cards don’t seem like a last minute present. And as an added bonus if they don’t redeem it within a year, I’ll secretly redeem it myself and get my money back!

Question about staking LP ( BTC/ ETH, Stables, Ect)
I'm new to staking and earning yield by farming and a decent amount of BTC. Currently been using [toad.network](https://toad.network/) . Currently the BTC / ETH farm they have is on bsc and have a yearly APY19.79% and DAILY ROI 0.05%. What do you guys think ? is this fair? Are there better options out there? I think its alright and gas is cheap on bsc to harvest rewards but again want to hear your feed back. The other attractive features they have are that they are available on multiple chains ( BSC, MOVR, GLMR) with bridges available to easily transfer between chains. Another question at hand would be is there a risk to staking stables ? what makes it attractive to stake stable coins for the investor and why isnt everyone doing it ? I will appreciate your advice and sentiments. Thank you!

How much are you down in this bear market? What was your lowest point?
What are you currently down percentage-wise in this bear market? What was your lowest point? If you are currently green, congrats! If at your lowest point you were still green, what's your secret? For me I'm currently down 10%, been saved by ETH but my hopium plays really dragged me down. If I hadn't been stupid and gone into them I'd be green right now. At my lowest point I was down 60%, not going to lie even as a crypto veteran that stung especially since the absolute figure was pretty big now that I have alot more invested. How's the bear been for you?

Question about Gemini
Okay so I’m dumb and in no way smarter than any of you. But I’m a bit confused if someone can shed some light. Why wouldn’t everyone use Gemini as their exchange to purchase? From my knowledge, they have the most secure platform available and have never even come close to being hacked. Completely compliant with NY state bank exams, cybersecurity audits, and the NYDFS. Yeah their fees are a little high, but wouldn’t you want to pay a little more for all that extra security? Am I missing something? Every time I read through this thread, I hear of a funky one-off exchange that some dumbass lost all their crypto on. Like why are people still buying on these sketchy exchanges when they clearly know the risks? Genuinely just curious. I am dumb so help me to learn. Thanks fellas

What are people running Bitcoin nodes on now that raspberry pi’s are sold out everywhere in the UK? I don’t really have a spare laptop to dedicate for the cause unfortunately. Are there any recommendations for equivalent alternatives? I was planning on installing Umbrel to run a Lightning node too.

How do we compare scarcity?
Is there a logical way to compare scarcity between two assets? Obviously there’s a maximum number of Bitcoin that will ever be created, but can we say Bitcoin is more scarce than gold right now? If we ignore the fact that Bitcoin is finite and just think about the quantities of BTC and gold that exist in the present moment, is there a way to compare these properties in an apples-to-apples format? Can we say one is more scarce than the other?
