I decided to remember the old days and create a doll in mixed technique, as I liked to do before. This time I was inspired by fruits. I wanted to create something bright, but at the same time melancholy and a bit sad. Here's what we ended up with. Bitten Pear

Will hot glue melt in the sun?
I want to make hair accessories and sell them, and all my tutorials say to use hot glue to hold the fabric together. Will hot glue melt in the sun? I'm in Texas and I'm terrified the summer sun is going to melt the glue into some poor kid's hair.

weird question, ancient artifact
This might not be the best place to post this but I was thinking about a story I heard recently, either on one of the craft related subreddits, or craft tiktok, about some old artifact no one could identify for ages until a modern day crafter came along and instantly recognised it as a part of her craft (iirc it wasnt like knitting or crochet, but more like lacework or something like that) I was wondering if anyone here recognises that story and could point me in its direction, I remember just enough for it to be frustrating but not enough to get any results searching on Google or reddit
