“Psst. Yeah, you! Want to buy some Colors?” (Hand embroidery, DMC thread color group #1)
Organizing my floss thread, and once I got to Bright Red (666), I couldn’t stop chuckling about a sleazy (slightly devilish) salesman try to unload some HOT colors.

is it possible to use art paints for block printing?
I have a whole bunch of oil paints and I do paint sometimes, but I'm curious as to if it's possible to use leftover mixed paint to print wrapping paper and xmas cards. Would it be necessary to use some kind of medium to make it easier for the paint to stick to the rubber block? Will oil paints ruin the block? Would acrylic paints work better with or without a medium of some kind? Googling just seems to want to sell me water-based printing inks so I thought maybe the creative people here would be able to help.
