The Third Place is a renovation project of a historic mansion in the centre of #StPetersburg, where the Lopukhins and Naryshkin lived before the revolution. During the Soviet era, the building was used as the railway museum. MacKimmie Tower, University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada. Tower was completed in 1972 but was stripped down a few years ago to the bare steel frame and rebuilt with a Modernist architecture. Also had structural issues upon completion in 1972, apparently there was incorrect weight calculations.

experience is about time and space. A lot of existing conditions could be explained when the history of a space is unfolded. only this way the city (not seeing it as the city at THIS particular moment) that it would still be loveable . the 1962 Mong Kok Building (middle green) was one of the very first “highrise building”around this MK-YMT area on Nathan Road. Based on a photo found on gwulo_hk taken in 1960 - It’s the tallest building (under construction) in the photo. Olson Kundig’s dynamic [storefront] space hosted a range of exploratory installations and social practice experiments, and provided a venue for collaboration with local artists. The installation “I Want All of This. All of This I Want.” paired artist Mark VonRosenstiel with Olson Kundig's resident gizmologist Phil Turner. The duo used the installation's 30-day window to program a kinetic, cantilevered drawing arm that would chalk those two sentences across the floor within.
