For the first time in many many years, my dad hasn’t traveled abroad for the winter. Other than reading endless books, taking walks, and restoring the cold frame sashes, he’s been digging through photos from years past. This is one of my favorites so far. I was born to do what I do today. From eating dirt in the prop house as a toddler, to being dressed up to match his hanging baskets, to working his landscape crew.....he’s been the starting inspiration of my career. And it’s something I never expected. Here’s little ol’ me at about age 5 or 6 (sweet bowl cut, mom). If you’ve seen the farm and the little house on the property, this is actually what the house used to look like! My dad and some local carpenters spent many years turning this barn into his now home. It’s crazy how far this property has come since this day so many moons ago. And I’m so excited to see my continued growth here 🌱 #flowerfarmer #womenwhofarm #countryliving #inspiration #sugarhill #nh
