First handful of daffodils for the season, picked from the orchard. Its hard to believe in no time we’ll be swimming in them! Spent yesterday digging out and transplanting some rambling roses that need more room to run. We also started preparing the beds around my little flower studio for a big new planting which is quite exciting. I’ll share more as we go along. Can’t believe we’re just two days out from book launch. It has been so much fun seeing so many copies arriving already and watching the creative/hysterical/heartfelt photos and videos coming in for our dahlia tuber contest. My first plant as a kid was a Hindu rope. Discovered the variegated version this year. Bought a 2” variegated for 35$. Loved it. Then said life is too short, and bought mature ropes to fill out a pot 😅

I'm jealous of my Moms Orchids she waters them once in a month
