When it comes to my personal taste, there are two things I love in flowers: 1) a dash of drama and spook and 2) deep, rich reds. In the topic of favorite tulips, these are at the very top. They’re called “Nacht Wacht”. (Spelled that way, yes.). The first time I grew them, I imported the bulbs from England and it cost me a small fortune, but it was worth it. These blooms are fairly big, stems are about 15-18” holding many deep red variegated petals. Coloring vary from deep golds to ox blood, and they’re mesmerizing! This variety is widely available in the US now, so be sure to order yours. I’ve gotten a few DMs asking if I’ll be selling tulip bulbs. As much As I would like to, we don’t have the bandwidth for it, but we will be selling ranunculus and anemone corms, starting October 1, 2021, so Mark your calendars! Hope everyone’s having a great Saturday! #flowers #tulip #spring #springflowers #wedding #weddingflowers #color #flowerfarmer #farmerflorist #follow

It was one of those late night/early morning/spreadsheet til ya drop sort of weeks - I think my brain is just about mush after the past few days. Hoping for a few head clearing walks by some new (to me) bodies of water this weekend. Here’s hoping you all get just the kind of break you need, too. xx
