We're sad to announce that the old stone pine suffered a major collapse on 21 Oct and had to be removed for public safety. This beloved tree was in the Gardens for over 250 years and was a favourite of many visitors. 💚 A suitable replacement tree will now be considered. https://t.co/GixcdRRW5f

So many months of careful, thoughtful, tedious work go into preparing for each seed offering. So many hands involved along the way. And this doesn’t include the growing, harvesting or cleaning! So, when your order arrives, just know a lot of love and a lot of hands were part of getting it to you. #floretseeds #growingfloret

I think these might just be my favorite fall flowers! Cup & Saucer Vines come in both dark purple and white and can grow a good 12-15 feet in one growing season. What’s amazing is that they are annual and are started from seed. All these years I’d been sowing them too late, worried that they were too tender but beckycrowley_ taught be they should be started in pots in late winter (for us in early February) , around when you start sweet peas and then transplanted to the garden after the last spring frost (here in early May). With the adjusted sowing time they now start flowering in August and continue until our first really hard frost. We have seed for the purple in the shop (link in bio). #floretseeds #growingfloret
