Well that's my childhood ruined 😳😳 🗣"Something from my past that I'd like to bring up: What was with the penis here? Frogs don't even have penises. Explain yourself Crazy Frog the people need answers." This person is right, frogs do not have penises. They also don't wear motorcycling helmets and leather jackets, or babble incoherently over the theme tunes of 80s cop movies, but Swedish animator Erik Wernquist clearly thought they should when he created the character 🤣 🔗 Link in bio for more on Crazy Frog and his 🍆

New Zealand’s parliament has unanimously passed a groundbreaking bill legislating three bereavement days at full pay for women and their partners after a pregnancy loss, including those having a child through adoption or surrogacy. The country is now only the second in the world to offer miscarriage leave. In India women are entitled to six weeks of paid maternity after a miscarriage or medical termination. Labour MP Ginny Andersen said of the news: "The passing of this bill shows that once again New Zealand is leading the way for progressive and compassionate legislation ... The bill will give women and their partners time to come to terms with their loss without having to tap into sick leave. Because their grief is not a sickness, it is a loss. And loss takes time." 👏👏

The Bank of England has unveiled the design of the new £50 note featuring mathematician and computer pioneer Alan Turing, who helped Britain win the Second World War with his code-breaking skills. The new banknote will enter circulation on what would've been Turing's birthday - June 23rd - although old £50 notes will still be accepted for a while yet 💸 Despite his enormous contributions to the war effort and computer science, Turing was convicted of ‘gross indecency’ in 1952 after having a relationship with another man. Tragically, he later died after being chemically castrated. Today’s your day, Mr. Turing 👨🏻💻🏳️🌈
