A local public bench on the grounds of Aberystwyth castle was dedicated to a man named Huw Davies. However, after an image of the memorial plaque went viral on Twitter, the council stepped in. Having not previously realised the plaque was there before, on Monday, 16 May, Ceredigion County Council confirmed it had been removed because of its rude message. The photograph of the plaque was first shared on social media by James Vaughan. He stumbled across the bench when on a walk with his family 👉 While followers couldn't get enough of the bench, Ceredigion County Council did not see the funny side 😳 Until the bench gained such media attention, it noted it hadn't realised the plaque was even there.
