I met benjaminhardman 6 years ago or so in Iceland at a hostel. Both travelers at the time that fell in love with a country that immediately felt like home… I could tell he had a true dedication to make it as a photographer/ cinematographer and his drive was something I could relate to. When we met he was scrubbing toilets to make ends meet. Now he is a multifaceted talent with a signature photography style, thriving business’ and multiple TV shows that bear his DP credit. Yet despite success he still manages to keep a keen sensitivity to the landscape he loves and it shows in everything from the way he composes an image to way he makes coffee. I asked Ben to partner with me on a new gallerí in Iceland that will soon be opening in hafnartorg . His quiet and sensitive style of image making coupled with my often bright and contrasty photographs will be a beautiful marriage of visuals.
