Fallen US Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick’s remains lay in honor in the building's famous Rotunda Tuesday night, less than four weeks after he died after responding to the riot that erupted in the building. The viewing for Sicknick began at 10 p.m. and lasted overnight, with President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden arriving at the Capitol late Tuesday night to pay their respects. Sicknick, a New Jersey native who had served in the National Guard, died the day after the riot "due to injuries sustained while on-duty," the Capitol Police said in a statement at the time. He was one of five people who died in the violence. (📸: Demetrius Freeman- Pool/Getty Images)
