Most people older than 50 should probably be taking whey isolate.

Training hard day in day out is *not natural* so your body may need 'unnatural' help. People are running 60+ miles a week on hard surfaces - this is not natural. People are consistently working to failure in the gym, this is not natural. Your body is not limitlessly antifragile.

@Mark_Sisson I know those of us over 50 need more protein, but taking protein powder isn't the best way, I think. I suggest over 50 folks just eat more food with protein. Powders are often incomplete proteins when they are isolated and separated from real food.

Don't start running marathons in bare feet or minimalist shoes if you've spent your entire life wearing coffins on your feet. You have to condition and acclimate your feet—strengthen them.

The only added fat it's impossible to overdo is Mayo. This is scientifically proven in internal studies too explosive to release to the public. You can trust me.

One common factor in many people who've lost a lot of weight on a low-carb diet who get stuck on plateaus, see weird things in their blood markers, etc: They overdo the added fats. You don't need to put a half stick of butter on your steak (or in your coffee).
