My cycle is about a week ate so I thought I would take a pregnancy test just for kicks and giggles. Turns put it was positive. So.i mad dashed to the store and bought a few diffrent brands and styles and tested again. 4 test later they are all positive. I am freaking out. I know you "can" get pregnant with an IUD but it's so rare I was sure it wouldn't happen to me. Anyone have this happen to them and it turn out positive ? Now that I know I am pregnant I am hoping/praying for a health pregnancy.

How old should baby be to go out?
My baby is 9 weeks old and I see other mothers taking there babies to coffee dates and the park. Realistically my baby’s wake window is an hour max, and the time it would take to travel to/from these events isn’t worth it. I have turned down multiple people for this reason as it’s too stressful to even consider st this point. The most we do is go for a walk in the mornings (bottle fed baby)

Has anyone had an older child catch whooping cough?
My five year old has whooping cough. He is up to date on vaccines. Thankfully he has not been around babies or in public since Friday. I just find it odd he caught this.

Now, I know from the outside looking in, roughhousing appears, well–ROUGH! It seems so brutal and violent. Not to mention heart-stopping (I mean, really. Do they want to go to the hospital?). We can’t possibly let our children act that way…right? https://t.co/G2PIS6zDjT

What to do all day with a newborn who doesn’t want to be put down?
14 day old is not happy unless he’s on the boob or I’m holding him. Only way to get him down is to fall asleep on me and then transfer, and then I don’t have long until he figures it out and starts screaming again. It’s driving me to insanity but I’m trying to remind myself he’s still so little and it’s (hopefully) a phase. That said; if anyone has any tips for getting out of this let me know. The question is what do I do all day? I can barely eat. Feeling lost and alone

Baby diaper leaking overnight
My baby has been sleeping through the night for a while now and when he wakes up in the morning he has a very full diaper. This hasn’t been an issue until recently. He has started to roll to his tummy in the middle of the night and sleep in that position. So when I get him in the morning his diaper leaks a bit in the front and gets on his clothing. Leaky diapers were never really an issue when we was sleeping on his back. It has been a problem the last few days because he has been waking up a bit earlier than usual, likely because he’s uncomfortable. Has anyone had this issue? I’m not sure if I should size up with the current brand we have (Pampers) for overnight or try a different brand. If a different brand, any recommendations? He is not close to the upper weight limit at all, he’s actually closer to the bottom of that range for his current diaper size. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

29 week preemie kid now 4.5 - bike question
Hi, My daughter is 4.5 years old. Teeny little thing. She was born at 29 weeks and 2lbs. Now she is almost 30 haha. She is really struggling to have the muscle strength and coordination for our bike with training wheels. I was going to give her trike away but now I’m wondering if it is better for her to work and practice with that? I feel mixed because a lot of her pals are riding “big kid” bikes. I want to be encouraging to her but she’s also scared so not sure how hard to push. This is long winded question but should I keep the trike and have her practice on that? Or should this be like an ot question….?

Low muscle tone in 10mo
Hi moms! Anyone have a little diagnosed (by a PT, pediatrician did not notice this) with low muscle tone and eventually catch up with peers and lead a normal childhood? Took my newly 10mo daughter to PT because she wasn’t crawling, pulling to stand or getting to sitting by herself and PT observed slightly low muscle tone. She can: Sit unaided sturdily Roll Stand when placed in position Fine motor skills are on track Social and communication skills are on track Curious and alert and responds to name My heart is heavy thanks to Dr. Google Thank you!

Recommendation on schooling path forward
My son is 5 years old. He is in kindergarten at a private school currently, and should be an incoming kindergartener but we moved him up since his birthday is just a few days from the cut off. He is EXTREMELY smart. He has been tested at his school and he is at a 5th grade level. Has anyone had experience in getting their child help or assistance? What’s the best action, to keep at his grade level or advance him?
