Fucking awesome. Who decided this was a good idea for a toy?

Now that we’ve built an industrial solution to teaching in bulk, we’ve seduced ourselves into believing that the only thing that can be taught is the way to get high SAT scores. -@ThisIsSethsBlog, #parentalsage

Gassiness - there is no time?!

My baby boy is 6 weeks old today. He is breastfed and suffers from really bad trapped wind. I’ve gone dairy free, I burp him a lot after each feed, and keep him held up for 20mins to help with reflux but he will wake himself up in the night grunting and squirming to pass wind - this escalates into crying so we pick him up. We sometimes try tummy massage she bicycle legs but when is best to do this? His wake windows are only meant to be 45-75mins and with the feeding, burping, nappy change, holding up we’re already at 90mins sometimes! There feels like there’s no time for anything and he doesn’t go to sleep without a lot of crying - I guess he’s uncomfortable? We sleep him in a baby carrier as upright seems to be most comfortable. Any advice on how we can help his trapped wind? I’m sure he’d sleep more at night if that wasn’t waking him. I hate seeing my baby uncomfortable
